item bought and received from seller.
 just a quick note to those who plan to buy this for their macbook pro. mine does not properly fit (mbp mid-2010). had to disassemble the caddy, cut some parts of the black plastics, and bend the metal casing on one end.  usb external dvd drive adapter works perfectly with win8 (on asus zenbook), osx 10.8 n win7 (on mbp).  cheers |

here's that small difference between the 9.5mm caddy (bottom) and mid-2010 mbp's superdrive (top).
 other than cosmetic, this is no issue for me. recomended seller, btw. |
