Was thinking of rerolling my barb to something else since if I have to kite a champion to kill it at range in inferno, i might as well roll a range class

You have to do it as soon as possible, Blizzard nerfs the farm methods as fast as people discover them

only work on Hell though. I'm still stuck at Act 1

Huhu.. Got to lvl 59 from 56.. not bad, one of the better run i think.. better than Azmodan run which got nerfed earlier..

anyway, now I think I shud stop that and play properly so that can unlock inferno

now x1 only.

I did something similar to this . I farmed from 52 till 60 like this repeating quest .

And now doing hell solo lvl 60

And it's better this way as you can get money + exp when farming . When hell time you get the special buffs stack to increase magic find

I did this from 57-60

took me roughly 30 min+ to get from 59-60

if in act 1 hell, can just do the doom at wortham quest for ~~65k xp

I got a friend to fast forward me to this spot. Lv52 monk, ~213k exp in 5:13, so about a ~2.45million exp/hour rate (inclusive of all the load time i.e. start game, 10second leave game timer, etc).


This one only gave me 109k exp in 4:28 i.e. 1.45mil exp/hour. Problem is I can only do it in Nightmare mode cos at 52, Hell difficulty a bit T_T. Possibly if you were closer to 60 can do Hell mode and the exp/hour might jump considerably.

thx to the method at #1, i pumped my lvl from 54 to 60 yesterday

my method is kill nightmare act4 diablo, 1 min 50 sec 47,000 exp 1800 gold. btw i using demon hunter.

tried this method. need strong weapon to kill the mobs though. but the 65k xp is sweet

the acolytes are easy, the berserker varies.
level 50-54 can whack no problem, level 55-60 the berserker can be easy or hard.
I have gotten Invulnerable arcane before and i just left game there and then.

Yesterday was most awesome power leveling from 52-55. Some level 60 guys took me to hell pony level.
Died like 10 times but exp was sweet mother or god.

edit: best to do the farming solo, additional players may cause the mob health/damage to double or triple.

tried this method with wiz 59-60 (4+ million exp)

finished leveling by 1 hour 30minutes (inclusive of walking out/login/loading)

from 10.30 to 11.59 lol

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Iskatu >_< that guy gives a lot of exp and it can be a very quick run too with a proper damage.

there is one actually, go t heart of sin, rush to azmodan, then rush to iskatu.
restart. but i think people would prefer the snakes at khazim outpost to level up. Only thing is getting to that part is though.

i tried the first method, 59 > 60, 30min
but im bb la..

I did runs for 60k exp for around 90sec

I prefer this method too. Cause the rares drop more in this method than killing boss.

Playing with my fiancee's 52 wiz. I don't play wiz so I newb lol, maybe a more pro wiz might kill the mobs much quicker and so the 2.7mil exp/hour figure could increase.

most of act4 won't be suitable. The placement of mobs and boss, requires a lot of running here and there, unless you rush straight to the mini areas like radiant chapel.

if you're in hell, I recommend either the act 2 snakes, or the act 1 doom of worthom,

OR

get someone to take you pony level, its a very good farming experience and plenty of mobs tho sall and cute.
I only have the nightmare staff for now. HELL staff of herding coming soon

use that Archon form, minions kills refresh the time of sustaining the archon from, get more minions into the map, then turn into archon for massacre.........

method 1 patched to give 50,000 exp now. just tried. FFFfffuuuuuuu

Hm, why didn't anyone recommend doing the first quest of Act IV?
The one with a lot of shadows..
I leveled from 59-60 in 40-45 minutes yesterday.
Which means about 2.6m exp IINM.

just plvled my barb !

+1, just power leveled from 54 to 57 within 3 hours, loots and rares earned me 300k as well.

any act/level can up fast

im in hell Act 1 only

did Zoltul, act 2 black soul stone, nightmare. for more then 8hours(forgot how many) but lvl up from 50 to 56. I think was pulling 1.5minute per run for 36kexp.

Earned close to 400k gold from vendoring blues and quest rewards, plus dropped gold. It is not much gold, but it is hard earned gold. I know AH can make few hundred k per 10minute but thats that.


note: wasted 1-2 hour trying to do the wortham doom in hell mode and fail miserably. Knockback, XXX, ... mob totally pwned me bad.


I switch back to the tried and true 36k, and was able to get 55-56 bang out in 1 and half hr.

Gonna have to try Iskatu if blzzard didnt patch it up. Just bought a 300++ dps 1h axe. hopefully can grind all the way to 60 tomorrow.

who do u play with? wortham doom hell could take times, but i get it through with wizards.. quite good gear you would get there.

I asked LemonAid to fast forward my quest to act 1 wortham doom hell. since I was still at act4 nightmare, when i hit some snag. (lvl 50 at that time) being the noobish player, i didnt continue act 4 nightmare, and discover this thread on plvling. So i pow the zoltul till i get to 55, figure i could go wortham, boy was i wrong. Once i left Lemonaid(awsome guy) to solo... i got pounded bad.
