 [SOLUTION] Auction House bug, Not receiving item after being credited

I've noticed a lot of people complaining about getting robbed in broad daylight in the Auction House, saying that they're not getting something that they payed for.
Here's a quick solution that hopefully would help most of you guys experiencing this problem.

Blizzard have indicated that due to high traffic in the Auction House (bear in mind that it's the weekends now, so more Americans are playing), certain people might not receive their items after being credited.

I've done some tests, and came up with a solution,

Restart your client and re-enter the Auction House, your items should appear in the COMPLETED section. (Remember this ONLY WORKS if you've been credited gold)

P.S : Tests have only been carried out on my account, so it might not work as intended in some cases. So it's important for those who've tried this out to provide feedback in this thread, please... do me a favour lol

The next problem would probably be sending the item to your stash (I know it takes forever sometimes).
I recommend waiting for at least 2 minutes after sending your item to stash because that usually works for me.
I'll conduct more tests later on and see what I can find, can't do shit right now 'cause the Auction House is down. rclxub.gif

I don't get it how can a developer who has experience with large traffic scale auction house fails here in d3

Sure different game different engine but they should have already foresee this problem ahead. Or just skimping on servers to maximize profit

I'm still trying to solve this matter right now.
So far to only one working is the one which fixes the missing item in the COMPLETED section problem.

this didnt work...and worst of all its not even in the history/transaction log and my gold i gone :S ...sigh

WoW's AH is not global across all servers. It's on local on that particular server, and add to that divided to factions.

Diablo is on a much much larger scale than what WoW was, to be honest.

suddenly my item appeared on my winning bid..faster take it out before it disappeared..i won it 2 nites ago any it says won today...dont know whats up with that..oh well

i'm having issue as well.

I sold some of my items today and because today AH is lagging or not responding, I couldn't collect the money.

After that, AH went down. Few hours later, the option to collect the money is no longer available but it's showing credited to my account.

How to recover my money?

Anyone having similar problem?

Bought and armor around 4pm no item. Log back I'm around 10pm still no item around 10.30
Item was there with other stuff I sold

Bid for 2 items and went off for VGL.

Came back to find that one of them i got outbidded and 100k gold back into my account. The other item, 120k gold, did not say if i have won it or not, gold is not credited back into my account, and the item is no where to be seen.

120k burn just like that. sad.gif

anyone still having this problem of not getting any money or item shown in the completed tab today? yesterday i got this problem and apparently they bring down the AH to fix it...few mins ago i woke up to check on a item that i am bidding with 2m duration left and end up i am not sure i won it or not...since there is not msg about i got outbid, no outbid money shown in my completed tab and if i won there is no item in the completed tab as well....

5 days is a little... extreme.
Well, the Auction House seems stable for now, I'm able to purchase and receive/send to stash in less than 5 seconds.

 

Change to:
