idle already 50C, still safe to OC? (still not yet clean) Added on May 27, 2012, 4:35 pm QUOTE(90Boyz @ May 27 2012, 03:17 PM) got what valuable cpu cooler can suite my motherboard? This post has been edited by DotaGamer: May 27 2012, 04:35 PM |

QUOTE(DotaGamer @ May 27 2012, 04:05 PM) heat sink can touch water 1? or mop with a dry cloth? you can clean the HSF using brush to clean the dust (if there's any)idle already 50C, still safe to OC? (still not yet clean) got what valuable cpu cooler can suite my motherboard? idle oredy 50'C, so have you try t0 stress it (load) ? how high is the load temp. you can get hyper TX3 for RM65 from lingloong http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/954114 |

( 11-11-11-27 not my timing, just an example ) its ram timing not clock speed. if you are using ddr2, the ram timing is 4-4-4-X or 5-5-5-X. the tightest (lower/ smaller number) you can set the better speed you can get. btw your temp there is a bit high compare to others that use the same chip as yours.. you can try googling around to find other E2200 OC result This post has been edited by lengchai86: May 27 2012, 08:27 PM |

QUOTE(lengchai86 @ May 27 2012, 08:24 PM) where do you see those 11-11-11-27. in the cpuz>memory tab? my ram timing is 5-5-5-15 , i found ram speed in bios , 667mhz n 800mhz n auto, current setting is auto , should change to 800mhz ?its ram timing not clock speed. if you are using ddr2, the ram timing is 4-4-4-X or 5-5-5-X. the tightest (lower/ smaller number) you can set the better speed you can get. btw your temp there is a bit high compare to others that use the same chip as yours.. you can try googling around to find other E2200 OC result This is the stress test result after a GOTONG-ROYONG , at 5th minutes: ![]() It -5C compared before cleaning the heat sink + fan idle at 45~46C at the same time, i checked the bios i found Smart Fan it got some settings but i not really know what those means (not really rmb, something like below) Fans start rpm : 28 or 23 Fans start at temp : 43 changed to 40 CPUID (or something else) : +3 changed to +4 xxxxxxx: 5rpm/C changed to 10rpm/C how to change the fans setting to make it(fan) run at max speed to ensure my cpu at its lower temp? Added on May 27, 2012, 10:44 pmAfter config fastest speed on fans, idle temp about 40C ~ Added on May 27, 2012, 10:50 pmAfter 5mins stress test, max temp is 79C time to oc? Added on May 27, 2012, 11:09 pmOC to 2.5ghz 230x11 = 2530 after 5mins stress test, max temp is 83C. Tj. max is 85c, so it is this the max oc for me because of the temp ?~ Added on May 27, 2012, 11:28 pmOC to 2.8ghz 255 x 11 = 2805 after 5mins stress test, is 83C but it reached Tj. max Successfully i will try oc to 3.0 or 3.2 when i get a better cooler This post has been edited by DotaGamer: May 27 2012, 11:28 PM |

on stock heatsink .. idle @ 40c consider very good .. if can invest some $$$ on high performance casing fan and some decent good quality CPU cooler you might get below 38c ...
