A fren is selling his nice conditined Blade 650r, after i poisoned him to change to Versys.

Just to share with you guys if you're looking for a great deal on a big bike. He is mechanically inclined and maintains his own bike in good condition. Plus look at the upgraded parts on the bike and decide for yourself if his asking price is worth it. In fact he's currently doing some mods for my versys too.

I'm riding a red 2011 versys. My mods so far :

- Front Fender Extender - Radiator Guard - Nissin 4-pot caliper - SS Brake lines - Sporty levers - Osram Nightbreakers H7 - LED DRLs - Rear Hugger - Givi crash guards - Yoshimura TRC Carbon - Dynojet PC5 - Scottoiler - Imitation Givi Windshield - Rear Givi rack with 35ltr Givi top box.

Up next :
- 19mm Nissin radial master pump - R1 shock with Ohlins 14.2 kg/mm spring - LOUD blasters - Protaper SE ATV Low - Handguards.

Originally got diy fender eliminator but put back the tail after got too much mud splatter and also dowan kena kacau by JPJ.

Hi guys just sharing. My custom mod rear shock. Costs half of an ohlins, yet has better adjustability options.

Compression
dia dah fixed ikut rebound dial. Tak boleh manual set.

Better adjustment option to tweak the shock to your prefered feeling and riding style. If anyone interested to do the same, i can help.

do tell me more

whyou make comparison with original ohlins, does this mean you have a "fake" ohlins?

how much price? what kind of mods?

i need to replace my stock rear shock on the 6n as it bounces too much (no rebound setting) even on the lowest preload (the only thing you can change)

only the spring is original from ohlins smile.gif Haha.

As i said, the cost is half of an ohlins. My cost to do this is rm1k So i cant say you'll get the same price as i did. Reason being the shock is being bought from the US and the price varies, the shipping cost varies and our currency exchange fluctuates. But as a safe bet, assume the price of the shock body is rm600 max including shipping. The spring is rm350, bought here via high-n marketing, Malaysia's official ohlins dealer, while chear charged me rm100 for drilling and installation. (after discount. He initially charged rm120). No modification to the bike or frame in any way. Only the shock's mounting hole is drilled to fit bike's frame and swingarm.

So there you have it, a fully adjustable shock for a very bargain price of about rm1k plus minus. It's even a worthier upgrade for er6 compared to versys bcoz er6 dont have other adjustments.

By the way, kalau dah bouncy sgt, shouldn't you harden the preload more?
