QUOTE(killdavid @ Nov 27 2012, 12:17 PM) So good ? Discussions are filled with people complaining about poor battery life. After some thoughts, I have decided not to spend a bomb on Lumia 920, instead go for value in Lumia 800/900. Really do hope Lumia 900 drop till RM 1k. What do you guys think about the future of WP7 ? Will new apps still support it ? App support is bit sketchy.Windows Phone 8 is using NT kernel. It's stated that apps coded for WP 8 won't run in WP 7.X.So if you are looking for Windows Phone which you want to use for a long time I won't suggest Lumia 900.It'll get support from Nokia & Microsoft but not as much as the WP8 devices. If you ask me I would suggest you to get 920 or 8X.You should be able these phone for 2 years with proper support.

It's the price having a AMOLED based phone. I guess the production of AMOLED screen must cost higher than IPS screen.Hence the higher cost of replacing it. http://www.mudah.my/Ori+nokia+lumia+800+lc...rt-18452432.htmSeems reasonable price. You can try to diy fix.At least you can sell phone rather than leave it to collect dust. QUOTE(danielcmugen @ Dec 10 2012, 11:35 PM) Just curious, if u leave it like that....the crack will get worse right? Cuz if it was me I won't bother fixing, just some minor crack to me. Hardly affect visibility. AMOLED is my most hated part of this phone, the colours are over-saturated . I rather have a blur screen with real colours. Somemore more expensive to replace. Dude,it's glass. You want the small glass shards to pierce your fingers? Oversaturation is part of AMOLED feature. It's depends on individual whether they like it or not. Personally I like it.Makes the colors pop up more compared to IPS panel.
