And yes, YES! It comes back ALIVE.
My question is why it turn off while there is still 50% battery remaining? Anyone experience the same problem?

QUOTE(troy13th @ Jul 3 2012, 09:23 AM) wakao it just work rght now on 3rd try, ytd whole day kenot o.O Verified! You're right. I think it updated the windows OS first. Now I've successfully done the nodo method twice. Here's more steps to ensure success : Now step 7 backup at 43% update for window phone osversion 8112 is tht the tango update? Added on July 3, 2012, 9:42 amyeshhhh i got 8773 update on the way now Added on July 3, 2012, 10:01 am i think it only updating the osversion first needa do it again till get fw update i'm updating to 8773 now 1. Start your timer as soon as you click update. 2. Take note of the time it takes to check for update. (Mine was 11-12 seconds, unlike the 6 seconds reported in nodo's method). 2a. Repeat the update check. 3. Click disable network adaptor about 1 second before your recorded time in step 3. 4. It'll probably fail. Scale back one second earlier on your timer. Repeat 1 second back every retry. You will hit the sweet spot for your setup and update will be found. |

QUOTE(slickz @ Jul 3 2012, 08:14 AM) Hi, I got my mom the lumia 800 2 days ago. I chose it over android and the rest because of how simple and straightforward the phone is. She loves the phone, considering she had a very chokia nokia last time ( lol ). Actually there's only a way is to set your msg tone, and normally incoming msg will be shown at the tile, showing the number of msg u received.Too bad no LED like most BB have. The disappointment came when she had it for the first day and found out there is no light for sms notification. I told her I'd look at the phone to find any settings that may help. I know that the iphone can make a notification sound up to 5 times every minute to notify arrival of a new message. There should be SOMEthing the phone can pro-actively do to signal new messaging right? Maybe flash the windows home LED key ? Or is this thing not yet implemented or will come in the new windows phone update? |

I want something like the iphone does when it receive a message. When you receive an sms, it will make the usual sound, but then after 1 minute it will make another sound if we havent read the sms. We can set it up to repeat 5 times to make the sms tone. This way much lesser chance to miss sms. |

You can suggest this feature on WP Dev website and hopefully they can implement this feature in the future. Let me know if you're really suggesting, I'll vote for you. We can set it up to repeat 5 times to make the sms tone. This way much lesser chance to miss sms. On a side note, HTC phones have LED light, but the light only serves as charging or miss calls only. Anyway, updating my HD7, seems like removing the SIM card from the phone has increased the chance of updating or probably is just me. |

It would be great to see additional LED on Nokia phones just like my days with a BB, every 5 minutes I will take it out and see if there's any blinking, such an addiction. Don't forget about tablets. Or we'll see what Apple have up their sleeve, so called revolutionary inventions. |
