every phone and model have their own issues Mike.

earpiece problem are usually hardware problem, but in your case it seems a bit different because you said it wont work even with earphone. no choice but to send to NCC or before that maybe you can try reset or rollback to the previous software/firmware and see

Huh? Go to settings --> lock + wallpaper? Or u did some other stuff to your lock screen?

Was playing contract killer happily in the morning and battery indicator showed at least 50% battery life...after 15 mins, screen froozen and blackout. It won't charge and won't turned on (no matter how I tried to heat up the phone with hairdryer or plugged in and out with wall charger, on laptop etc), no nothing. My Lumia is dead T_T

try holding the power button for 10s or more while the phone is connected to the charger and see?

you can try hard reset, by pressing down button + Power button together. u will lost all ur data tho.

they also said use the more powerful blackberry charger will work, so maybe borrow from a friend/phone accessories shop before you buy it?

tried hard reset, soft reset...nothing works.
But I have not tried with a different charger. But nobody around me is using a blackberry, will a htc charger works?

Is this covered by warranty? the phone is just 4+ months old

just try it if it's the same size(i am not sure) or just go to handphone accessories shop, tell them if the blackberry charger work for me then i will buy from you if not i dont think they will charge you for trying...

of course it is covered by warranty if yours is ori set but we all know how incompetence most of the nokia care centre staff are and the worst part is we have to part with our phone for dunno how many days?

just bought a white lumia 800

My PES 2012 keeps lagging lately. Anyone facing this?

lumia only 1 core, sure lag if play high graphic game with other application running on background.

But it's the highest end WP7 for now and the lag only recently appear, last time totally smooth. No other apps running on the background. Maybe I should try and re-install again.

yo.. anyone's here facing call-drop issues in the middle of a conversation? i've been having this since the 1st day i bought my lumia (been nearly 2 weeks now) & some readings have pointed-out that the manually-cut SIM is the culprit... so most of them have advised to change the SIM to a proper/actual micro SIM at the carrier's outlet. is this true? will this work?

when i bought my lumia, the shop dealer cut the sim card for me. Don't have drop call problem so far after 3 months.

if not mistaken,lumia 710 charger is one-piece de not like some phones the plug head+usb cable de...

my gf had this problem wit her 610. After she changed into a new microsim, the problem solved. Sometime when u cut the sim manually, part of the sim is disturb. If im not mistaken, u can changed into a new microsim for rm 10, n ur new sim can be use after one hour.
