http://windows.microsoft.com/en-MY/windows...ndO_MSCOM_en-my

Tried it a day, got used to it quite fast especially the metro style, it's almost the same as wp7.

Just deleted it, i feel windows 8 is optimized for upcoming touch screen notebooks..

There are a few key differences between Metro on W8 compared to WP7.5 though.

One example would be buttons. Most of the buttons on W8 are colorful boxes, while on WP7.5 they are plain white texts. I prefer the simplicity of the plain white texts though, especially on smaller screens, makes things much easier to focus.

wp7.5 looks feels better than windows 8 metro...

i dont know about others but after using windows 8 for a couple of days....i really would rather stick with WP7.5

i just hope the final release will be better.

After using it for a few days, I agree that too. Windows 8 is more suitable for tablets, not PC or phones. So far, I am really happy with WP7.5.

Windows 8's Metro interface is more suitable for touch input. The desktop interface has been improved slightly, so it's better to use than Windows 7.

I think the whole issue of switching between Metro and Aero has been blown entirely out of proportion. Sure it can be quite distracting when you want to search for apps (because you gotta go back to Metro to use the default Start Search function), but that's about it. In the millions of other ways you could use the OS, it doesn't affect usability at all.

yes, still works fine in desktop mode...even a little better now i say, ability to snap in one metro app on the side bar and in desktop snap 2 windows side by side smile.gif

i think once we get used to the metro interface, it will all be fine. im sure it will just seem like the cover to a book, just go into desktop mode and there you get your familiar aero

i really wouldn't mind upgrading to windows 8 when it releases
