Hey guys, new DH in the club. Currently in NM starting Act 2. Doing it with a monk friend.

Belial run as in you're farming belial or just completing? And should be normal difficulty right? Don't mind joining but I'm above level 25 already.

Anyway, what are the best levelling spot currently out there for lvl20++? I'm power levelling my friend. Looking for suggestions.

At low level use caltrop with the reduced speed rune. Works wonders. All mobs that are fast also become extremely slow. You have plenty of time to kill them all.

But yeah, I will say DH is extremely squishy and requires alot of fast reflex to play especially at higher levels. To survive then, you must be able to stutter step very well. Not to forget, connection is extremely crucial, a slight glitch/lag = bye bye. Unless of course you have tons of hp/armor/ar then different story.

Also, knowing the area helps. Been farming for quite a while in SC now and I do know areas and mobs that are extremely dangerous for DH and will proceed will extreme caution. Also, having plenty of defensive skills helps.

Best will probably to play a warrior. When well equip, very difficult to die.

Haha, he already tasted HC. Was way overconfident with his abilities and lag + elite (vortex and molten) got him. Died at Act 2 NM very close to kulle I think at level 41 while soloing.

So now trying to catch up on level to continue back where we left.

Added on July 31, 2012, 9:51 amYou forgot about ranged. Extremely dangerous especially mobs that can cast extremely fast fireball capable of 1hko you. Elites with affix like Mortar + Reflect too.

Caltrops I feel is extremely effective/OP at low lvl. But as the difficulty increases, it lose its effectiveness already.

Currently lvl41 at Act 2 NM. Got like 3-5levels just for power levelling my friend. He is extremely underleveled while I'm kinda overlevelled. xD Good for me, stressful/scary for him.

Lvl31. That's what he's doing at the moment. He's doing fine but has this fear now embedded in him since he died in Act 2 last time due to lag + elite (molten + vortex). And at his level, he should belong to Act 1 NM. We're planning to hit Inferno as soon as we can and of course, if anybody else will love to join, please do.

My lvl48 DH went down in NM Act 3, it was a stupid death, one that shouldn't have occurred. Was with my monk friend, he was underlvled and we were taking on Phasing Hulkbeast elite and was very worried about him. Kite them till to the entrance and he port out successfully. But I stayed on! I was fighting them at a very terrible location, I didn't move around too often, trying to melee them down quickly, and those 3 beast blink and surround me completely, stuck and nowhere to run. My discpline was gone completely as I caltrop quite a bit back then to ensure safety of my monk friend. When he realise that somethign is amiss, he tried porting in and blind the elites but it was a little too late. When I died, those freaking beast have like 1% hp left. 1-2shots more and they will have died.

Lesson of the day, NEVER ever be overconfident. Don't fight at poor position against powerful elites. Phasing hulkbeast is 1 elite you don't want to mess around with. A big majority of my DH death in inferno is also attributable to them. Without discpline, I'm as good as dead against them.

Now my DH is back to lvl29 completed Act 3 normal. My high level is because I got powerleveled to lvl18 by my monk friend. If it wasn't for that preventable death, I would be in hell by now.

Haha bee, try 1.5k ms in INFERNO on a DH Act 2 onwards. Overall, normal and NM with vit equips, you could pretty much enter underleveled.

Currently at Act 2 NM with the help of monk friend at lvl32 (underleveled). It kinda feels like a mini inferno there. Mobs hit u and ~15-25% hp gone. And playing it on a yellow bar, haha.

You're levelling 2 DH at once?

Lvl51 in hell Act 1. So far so good but things start to be pretty scary now. Need to start to stack on discpline based equips + movement speed. Hp really start to come down.

Was progressing decently lvl53 Hell Act 2 with green bar. Looks good. When to the sever and encounter snake elite. Waller, frozen and fire chain. Pretty dangerous combo and I was kiting them back slowly. And then roll back, next thing I know was surrounded by elite completely and dead. Tries smoke screen when I the roll back but was too late.

Died because of lag/roll back eventhough green bar. Sad sad.

Played HC on public? That is saddening. Not only we have to put up with server issue, we also have to be on a lookout on players intentionally trying to killing you. What a sad world But fear not, you have good players/friends who will help you bounce back. (But hv to wait till I'm higher lvl le, now still a noob lvl2x char).

Still recovering from my roll back death, fortunately I still have my old weapons in my stash so it was a pretty fast self soloing from 28 to 40 last night. It was really better than anticipated. And at normal/NM, it felt godly.

Stats for those bow? I actually have most of the bows ready up till lvl60. In fact, my friend had shop me so much bow that I could actually open shop to sell bow haha xD. Of course if it's an upgrade I wouldn't mind borrowing .

So bee, what happened to the lvl60 x 5 plan of yours? Didn't really see you around lately. Migrating to GW2 I supposed?

Back then, it was sharpshooter, steady aim and tactical advantage. My main disc spender are smoke screen and vault (changed from caltrop seems it start to lose its effectivenes in hell). I didn't really spend too much disc either but it was a precaution where I meet those OMFG elites. So much for being caution, died due to roll back eventhough green bar.

Lolx, 3 player game but DH enter first? O.o, in HC if play coop must hv a melee to take dmg. When I'm in A4 Hell, I should be lvl60 by then and will probably be equipping inferno equips so hopefully that wouldn't happen. Besides, I do have a tank to at least tank those dmg off. But yeah, A4 are one of those players where I might just go @#$@#%@. Many mobs that are capable of killing me.
