For PJ area, you can definitely try out Alt Space at Jaya One. It's a great place to either work alone or cowork with like-minded people.

More about it here: http://blog.officekami.com/2012/04/alt-space-jaya-one/

Hello Emi,

I am also using a virtual office. You can go to www.voffice.com.my.

They can give you up to 50% off for the complete package they have. And what's great is that they offer unlimited call forwarding service to any number in Malaysia, Singapore and Hongkong. This is the only virtual office who can give that kind of offer.

You can give them a call to see and give them a try to feel how good are the services.

I am very amazed of what they have provided me that's why I'm so confident that they can give you a 5 star service at 3 star rates.

Thanks MzDz!
I called their salesperson just now, and she said their call forwarding is absolutely unlimited to any number in Malaysia, Singapore and Hongkong! I'm very amazed coz other virtual offices I have searched has a lot of additional charges and doesn't even offer this kind of advantages.

This is actually worth-sharing, isn't it? thumbup.gif

I've tried Regus. Not recommended. The blood sucker and too many hidden clauses.

Google around. You can find some good promo, such as

http://www.servcorp.com.my/en/virtual-offices/

http://www.apbcoffices.com/main/virtual-offices/

http://www.ada2u.com/

& etc...

Although there may seem to be too many fake feedback here regarding vOffice, I would like to share my own testimony.

One of my company is using Regus, and another one is using vOffice, and I can concur what the "fakers" said. Although vOffice may be a smaller establishment than Regus or ServCorp, I actually do like their customer service, and also their efficiency. But the most important factor that made me choose vOffice is due to their price.

My contract for Regus will end on March next year, and I will not renew with them ever again. I am considering to move it over to vOffice upon expiration. As one forumer said, Regus has too many hidden clauses/costs which were not properly represented by the so-called sales manager. I learned my lesson after this incident.

Kaka23,

The thing I hated the most was something known as "Telocom charges", which I assume should be the call forwarding charges. It further annoys me that even when there is not a single call forwarded to me in that month, they still would charge me RM 1 of "Telecom charges".

Thanks tatatan

I think not the case now.. only limited business ie food supply can operate from home according to their latest (as of Aug 2012) changes.. really hard nowdays

not sure if virtual office is considered as online premise

"Tidak dibenarkan beroperasi menggunakan alamat pejabat maya (On-
Line), Peti Pos (P.O.Box), mailing box office services dan lain-lain premis
dimana kesahihan dan keupayaan syarikat sukar ditentukan"

Checked McOffice packages, still quite expensive as compared to vOffice. I have just registered vOffice for another business, so now I have 2 companies registered with vOffice, and one is with Regus. Once my Regus contract expires in March, I will switch over to vOffice again. Address is still more prestigious than McOffice.

If you want I can get the manager to prepare a special quotation for you.

FYI, you need 3 months advanced notice as stated in their contract terms & conditions which most people won't bother to read.

If you cancel 2 months before the contract end, they will ask you to pay for the whole year (because the contract will auto-renew). I have bad experience with them and no room for negotiation as they will email to threaten you that failure to do so they reserve the right to list the account with a credit information bureau.

Suggest to consider other providers, be it vOffice, Servcorp, apbcOffices & many others.

I've a friend just signed up Servcorp 30 days trial, will ask him to post the feedback here.
http://virtualoffice.servcorp.com.my/

I'm now looking into serviced office in KL, anyone have good recommendation?

nyuc,

That's true. I did notice that we need to give a 3 months notice to them, but I fell victim to that term in the end when I forgot about the timeframe due to my busyness. Just passed the timeframe about 2 weeks, and no appeal would be entertained. They also wouldn't care to give the clients a gentle reminder that they would trigger the auto-renewal.

I've been with vOffice for 2 of my other companies and so far I have had positive feedback for them. I would recommend it if you are serious of looking into renting a serviced office.

I use this Flexifax service and their service is currently very bad. Last month, I used their service to send fax and after an hour, my customer still didn't get my fax. This month, it's even worse! I send a few faxes to different numbers in 2 days and all faxes cannot reach the receivers. End up, I have to conventionally use TM line to send and the conventional way didn't disappoint me.

How did you overcome the requirement to display your business registration certificate, sales tax license or have a signage with your company name? Theses are all requirement by law for business or companies.
I noticed most VO providers, do not cover in their package such services.
I find it strange.

I've tried Regus. Not recommended. The blood sucker and too many hidden clauses.

Google around. You can find some good promo, such as

http://www.servcorp.com.my/en/virtual-offices/

http://www.apbcoffices.com/main/virtual-offices/

http://www.ada2u.com/

& etc...

Regus is charging premium for service offices. You can see like 40-50% difference versus other service offices. The size in terms of sqft also much smaller for that 40-50% higher price.

They are also not flexible to customers' need.

Regus will be better for bigger corporations...

If you're a freelancer working from home and you want to look established so that your clients trust you. You then sign-up for a vritual office to have a nice address (instead of your home address) and a phone number in the city, where a secretary answers the calls for you. You can learn everything about Virtual Office here.

Considering to have a virtual office for my new small online. What I need now is a good correspondence address instead of using my house address. I can live with using a dedicated mobile number to serve the customers for now. Might consider the PA services in the future...

Any update on current users and recommendation?

Can anyone suggest me any affordable yet high service of Virtual Office in PJ or KL area? thumbup.gif

bruce.gif Yes, you may find well decorated Virtual Office in Malaysia (Petaling Jaya). S & F Consulting Firm Limited here as their information you may rent Virtual Office by RM 120, 200, 300 as well as small number of staffs (2-3) may sit ( By RM 800, 1500) in ready desk. Both (virtual office and desk) rate is cheaper. Do you know why virtual office is required? It is required to use business address, local phone number, meeting room. Most of the foreign company's (limited company or branch office) like to rent Virtual Office.
Difference between virtual office and regular office
-V.Office=Cheaper where as Office=Costly
-V. Office=Well ready decorated, Office=Office decoration cost bear by tenant
-V. Office=Situation in good location, Physical Office=It's difficult to find office in good location
-V. Office=No hassle of utility bills, P. Office=All utilities are beard by tenant
-V. Office=No security deposit for 3 months in advance, P. Office=At least 3 months security deposit

As comparison renting virtual office in Malaysia is the best choice. Decision is yours.
