used to play magic during ICE AGE. that was really long time ago...
4th generation to 7th generation time and then stop.

in my collection had some beta generation cards as well , arabian nights, antiquities, ..

it was the time where lightning bolt is widely use, kird apes run rampart. ( 1 had like 20 kird apes in my collection) real dual lands from alpha or beta.
Alladin ring anyone? Icy Manupulator was then an uncommon.. (now its rare).
BOP is also worn from use. My brass city is still in good condition.
i had 2 sets of hymm of tourach (4 different picture each set).

land kill was also common with sink holes, fissures, ...

that was the good old days.. it had since evovle to current mess of money making rather than an enjoyable game.

still had those classic cards in my collection. keep em for memory sake.

Cristiano-Ronaldo-7> u 2

my collection is for my self satisfaction.. not really for show..
i was trying to collect all those wierd cards and the super cards thats hard to get. went over in my trips to US and other countries to get what i am keeping in my collection. its just my own personal trophy. i am also afraid to bring out the whole collection in case i lose em or i am robbed wink.gif. was an avid magic fan and player so to speak.

lost my stamps collection at 10 years old at school. It was a good collection with stamps from several century (pass down from uncles). Brought it to school for stamp exhibition and it got stolen.
and it was just used old stamps from foreign countries. .. also got stolen.
but its worth alot to the collectors.
similarly.. what my collection is to non appreciators would just be tons of recyclable paper cards , but to collectors... a black lotus can go for 1 million. (that was to the arab guy who bought it).
and too bad i dont have a black lotus. tongue.gif

it would be great if wizards will buy back our cards and give us the equivalent electronic cards to play online.

Yea, a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly meeting to play MTG for 'old timers' would be good. Of course we have to discuss venue and day/time.

Yeah . that would be great.. probably a meet up for casual typeless players would be cool. after all casual players doesnt mind losing , its the fun of the game and a surprising 2nd turn win.

QUOTE(berkhoo @ Aug 21 2006, 09:54 AM)
Anyone interested in playing T1 or Typeless MTG in Penang please let me know.
Looking for kaki here  biggrin.gif
*
I actually met up with berkhoo for a game of typeless MTG last Sat.
we had a great session playing... so for those who are also interested to play typeless... can PM me or Berkhoo...
at the moment we are playing around the penang bridge area (e-gate) and probably move about some where there (*as long as the place have table and chairs, drinks and nice refreshing drool.gif thumbup.gif scenery) ... since lazy to go all the way to george town or 1-stop.

So for those living near that area and interested in playing typeless can just join us.

Intro to multi color cards:
Rules taken from the judge guidebook

Multicolored
A multicolored card has two or more colors. Most multicolored cards are printed with gold frames to
reinforce this. See rule 203.2.
A multicolored object is affected by anything that singles out any of its colors. For example, a blackand-
green creature is destroyed by a spell that reads, "Destroy all green creatures." Something that can't
affect a particular color doesn't affect a multicolored object with that color, so that same creature can't be
targeted by a spell or ability that reads, "Destroy target nonblack creature."

203.2b An object with two or more different colored mana symbols in its mana cost is each of the colors of those mana symbols. Most multicolored cards are printed with a gold frame, but this is
not a requirement for a card to be multicolored.
