Pithing Needles dude. Lotsa Pithing Needles. Besides, Fetters is better vs Mono Red because their faster and it also kills Korlash.

There are various UB Teferi builds out there ranging from the tutor version with Mystical Teachings to the more aggro version with more creature kill and less counter magic. Mono Red is fast ... and I do Mean fast. Better pack up on spell snare's

Turn 2 Keldon Marauders (-2)
Turn 3 Suspend Gargadon (-6)
Turn 4 Solifuge (-12)
From then on its just burn burn burn and laugh at Tendrils.

Its annoyingly hard only because you want to side out Damnations, but then you need it incase you get overruned. And its useless to side in more because most of the time you'll be using it on 1x Keldon Marauder or Mogg Fanatic which they sac in response to Gargadon. Post side they also have Cycroclasm ....

Sigh ..wish force spike was still legal (I've just started testing the US national build. Will let you guys know the results)

erm i was thinking decking pyroclasm haha...
with it i can wipe up the board faster since its 2 mana cost and most of their red are weenies...

my current deck runs 4 remands but not sure would spell snare be better?

Remands are still good as it gives you a boost in tempo
However if you're playing control or even control aggro Spellsnare's are awesome. Nothing beats the look on people's faces when you spellsnare their  Helix, Scab Clan Mauler, Incinerate, Remand, Rune Snag blah blah blah Most important is probbaly Boom//Bust.

Hey guys, I've been following this thread for a while and it seems that MTG is getting super cool!

I started during the Odyssey block but stopped during Onslaught because of the piss awful illustrations  and also other reasons.

But when I saw Xth, i got interested immediately! 

Hope u guys won't mind me butting in!

P.S. Would also like to join u guys for some draft sessions 

You got it almost spot on. The reason why people normally net-deck is because they don't have the time to spend tweaking and fine-tuning decks of their own creation. Besides it's not only has to do with how you want the deck to perform by itself but also how does the deck peform against the rest of the field (or meta).

Most simple and efficient way is to net-deck and sideboard according to your local metagame. Say you expect lots of dredge at a compy , then you'll prepare your sideboard more towards Dredge , same goes for other decks.

But to be honest , with worldwide nationals coming up and all . The current metagme has got quite a few decks which are quite good at the moment. Most notable are the different variants of blink decks which utilize Momentary Blink and Venser. Rakdos and OmniChord also seem to be quite popular too. On the fringe of these decks will probably be decks like Mono-Green Aggro and Red-deck Wins.
By the way for anyone who is interested in drafting , I'm trying to organize an 8 man pod for this Saturday at around 3pm @ Manawerx. I'm trying to keep this pod open for the intermediate players , so the picking order will be 1-1-1-1 formula. If anyone is interested can probably post here or drop me a pm / sms.
