yeah we had a number of blurb screwups among the top 8.

Me = forgot 2 register my tendrils so i got it replaced with 3 swamps and a game loss

vincent gan = forgot 2 register tendrils and pull frm eternity so he gt 3 swamps and a plains

Kar wye = genius void called for 8 when there was a spectral force in play

Shaun = the greatest genius of all times. Loco is down 2 5 live , Shaun has a storm bind in play and 2 cards in hand. He untaps his 8 lands. draws a card. Proceeds 2 flash back call of the herd. Drop a land. Stormbind loco`s radha or
the p blue 1/1 flash flying scryb biatch.

Chaostheory = f**kin luck sack. Maybe jude`s love got 2 him finally. Round one plays a hard match against UB. Wins match 1. Opponent then proceeds 2 take out a piece of paper . And looks at it. I am sitting beside him. Informs me . I look at him and call Mike. Opponent gets a game loss. Lucky ass ...

Round 2 : Opponents gets infected with the "Hari Influenza". Forgets 2 pay for the pact. Another lucky ass win. Coincidentally . Kar Wye as well lost round one coz he got the same disease....

Round 3 : meets terry gets his ass kicked soundly.

Quarters : meets terry again kicks his ass real nice. i heard something abt terry decided he didnt like 2 play more then 3 lands a game


oh wait i havent finished the report .... JUDE .........

Jude : has an excellant mono white weenie deck that won last saturdays tourney. Decides he wants 2 revamp and succesfully destroys a winning deck into a crap piece of shit

hey guys im back since ppl said this place is active again ... for the question by ShocKK...

it actualli depends on what level of magic are u considering and ofc your budget. If you are lookin 2 play casualli then i guess just buy the cards off . If you are looking to play magic seriously for a long term you are looking at a few thousands in investment which would actualli make buying boxes more attractive. Another slower but efficient alternative is to buy some cards u need and draft every week. So in the long run you get your cards that you need finally.
