I am driving a VIVA. my setup is as follow:
Kenwood KDC-U453 HU
Kenwood KAC-M646 500W Amp
Sony Xplod xs-GTX1620s 260W Front component + with tweeter
Original VIVA component for Rear
Brother 160W cylinder tube woofer - just buy a small woofer cause VIVA is a small car....

I have all the above purchased at Brothers.

Recently i found that the tweeter has Hisss or Titttt sound appearing in background.
The noise become obvious if the volume of song is low.
Another thing i found is that, the noise only appear when the engine is started.
I try my ICE without engine running, and no such noice appear.
The noice also increase each time i step on my fuel pedal (noise louder when engine moving harder).

Do not have such noises when i first install all the system. Now they are 2 months old.

Any1 know what is the causes of the noise?


Anyway, any recommendation or critic about the setup above? Anything i should add?

Maybe some power leak perhaps? Check your grounding, and also check your crossover from the Sony Xplod xs-GTX1620s 260W.

grounding problem, check power cable and rca cable running parallel or not, if yes, separate them, u can cross them but not parallel them

check rca wires also, could be a loose connection or a bad rca head, check also location of passives, could be close to car's ecu

create a loop around rca outputs on the head unit and ground it to the body.

step 1: u need to locate the source of the noise, identify which areas in the chain of the hardware system n wiring issues.
as there are many variables to test but actually its only less than 10 variables.
(basic electronics understanding required)

step 2: noise identified, time for solution
