my account got hacked yesterday night while i was playing playing the game. i sent blizz a ticket but there have been no response for 9 hours + whatsoever. Anyone can tell me usually how long do they respond to an account theft ticket like mine? soooo frustrating, not even a response acknowledging my issue! sad.gif(

same thing like all the other ppl who got hacked,
they change ur password, (i got an email notification from blizz on my hotmail saying that my pass had been reset)
then they will prevent u to login, taking all the items and gold.
the rate of ppl being hacked is at 1 person/minute (check the forums)
something is so wrong with blizz's servers and hackers are exploiting this fact!
RMAH is going to be a fail if this issue is not addressed.
what's worse is that they never respond to my ticket. WTF!

people get hacked even with an authenticator. even a phone authenticator.

one of the posters on official forums:

Had an authenticator, lost all my gear today... Used text messaging authentication, yet my phone has no messages. Go figure...

EDIT: And I have the call authenticator. Unless my gear just randomly disappeared at around the same time as all these hack reports, they bypassed the authentication system...

i got this email before. If notice you the email carefully, the real blizard email name is blizzard entertainment but the one that i get is battlenet.
I dont bother to click any link in the email.

no i mean i got an official email from blizz telling me that my account password had been changed. it didnt promt me to click on any link or whatsoever.
meaning the hacker got hold of my password and reset it with blizzard. i noticed that email after i recovered my account when i saw 2 emails by blizzard (that email was opened) i changed my email's password too. these hackers are terrible

got a reply from blizzard and i gotta farm again from LVL 41! sad.gif (im currently at lvl 47)

Hi there,

I am Game master Chanbeir. I read your ticket and see you have verified that you would like a rollback of your D3 account. We thank you for the reply however since it has now been over 24 hours from the time that response was sent from us and when the response ticket was sent back from you (ticket wait time is not counted against this) we will need you to please read this message and use the keyword at the bottom of this email to verify you would still like a restoration. We apologize if this is causes any trouble but to avoid accounts being rolled back when they should not be we need players verification within 24 hours to preform those rollbacks.

Again I understand this frustrating, but due to the fact that we CANNOT reverse a rollback once it is done, we need to make absolutely sure you wish us to rollback your account.

Diablo III uses a roll back system to undo the effects of a compromise. Diablo III roll backs affect the *entire* Diablo III account.

**All progress gained after your original restoration request will be permanently LOST and CANNOT be replaced. This includes Heroes, items, gold, or levels.**

If we perform a roll back on this account it will look like this:

Class One/Level: Wizard 41

Number of Magic Items: 43
Number of Rare Items: 24
Number of Legendary Items: 0
Gold: 302098

The account currently looks like this:

Class One/Level: Wizard 47

Number of Magic Items: 7
Number of Rare Items: 4
Number of Legendary Items: 0
Gold: 0

If you would like us to process this roll back request, reply to this ticket using the following code: ####
(Please use this word in your ticket somewhere and we will perform the rollback to your account.)

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work with you to resolve this issue.

Regards,
Game Master Chanbeir

Battle.net Account: christopher_united@hotmail.com

We have investigated the recently reported compromise on the above Battle.net account. Per your request, we restored the linked Diablo III account using the best available restoration point. Though restoration points are regularly updated, the best available one may not be completely current when a compromise occurs. Some progress may be permanently lost when an account is reverted to a restoration point. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

This is your first restoration. Future restorations will be limited. For information on our restoration policy and restoration limits, see our Compromised Diablo III Account support article (http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/compromised-diablo-iii-account).

Note: If your account does not have an authenticator attached, access to the Real Money Auction House is restricted and will not be restored until an authenticator has been added. For information on authenticators, please see our authenticator support article (http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/battle-net-authenticator-faq).

Account security is critically important. To help protect your account, we recommend following the Security Checklist (http://us.battle.net/security/checklist) on our Account Security site (http://us.battle.net/security/).

Thank you again for contacting us. We hope you continue to enjoy your experience in Diablo III!
