Hi all sifu,

Any sifu here answer my questions based on the image below? I've a 13-14inch beam from ceiling, so I want to even out my L-Box same level with the beam, but the contractor says too low the T5 wont be able to light to the ceiling, hence, will cause the room not bright enough. Any idea?

I don't understand your drawing, I think you misunderstood the L-Box concept.

How it should look like then?

If worried that the distance too big, you can lower your ceiling also right. Which means doing flat plaster ceiling over the area surrounded by the L-box.

Yes, but that's extra cost and the ceiling become lower. Haha.
