how to turn off 3G from been charged extra for data plan?

GO TO SETTING=APPLICATION=TICK UNKNOWN SOURCE
GO TO SETTING=APPLICATION=DEVELOPMENT=TICK USB DEBUGGING
EXTRACT PC ODIN INTO UR PC
EXTRACT THE ROM UNTIL U SEE XXX.MD5

1. load the file XXX.MD5 on PDA at PC ODIN
2. boot to download mode (VOL DOWN+HOME KEY+ON/OFF BUTTON) release the key when u see samsung galaxy note n7000 boot image
3. connect ur device to ur pc using usb cable
4. at PC ODIN OPTION make sure just tick ONLY AUTO REBOOT AND RESET TIME
5. PRESS START AND WAIT TIL IT FINISH FLASHING AND UR PHONE WILL REBOOT..

QUESTION IS : the question number 2 right, release key mean release everything? and after download the file (600+mb ics) should i extract it come out?

i just root my note so how am i suppose to get custom rom? ermmm.... if use custom rom need delete everything?

ahh i see..i tot that 10.1 is note 2..

antu..can help me about my csc issue?i cant find any update OTA..since i hv flashed to taiwanese last time..now im on GB stock..

i flashed edy last time..now trying hard to flash using OTA..scare sumthing wrong with my csc or watsoever relate to my rom..

my browser dun show any option avalible on 192.168.1.5:8080..dun see anithing..and said cant find page..how?is tat the correct way to use kiees?

I went to Pandan Indah SC because I can't update with Kies. I told him I am going to to flash via Odin. He ask me to wait for OTA. Both Kies and OTA is OK if you come from stock GB. As long as no root and no custom rom. He even offer to solve my color banding problem. Some chips he said.

Seriously one big joke I had just now

I called up the Samsung Careline 1800

I asked him about Note ICS update via Kies

Answer: Malaysia ICS not available yet and reason why I got the update was because I downloaded the Kies from Samsung US. And ICS can only be updated by SC, not Kies. So without further waste of time, I ended the conversation without having to waste my time.

i dont believe a single word.

imagine this, there are hundreds of thousands of ppl dare to use custom rom, you think they would afraid to use OFFICIAL ICS?

come on man, stop all this bs, those are not source. my android engineer say this say this. hey i'm steve jobs.

my point is, there is nothing safer than official rom. ( and ppl are flocking to get custom rom) so forget about scaring ppl on the brick and fried thingy.

any german galaxy note brick or exploded? taiwan?

can teach me how to connect NOTE using kies?damn..i duno.

i noe..i did twice flashing both malaysian and taiwan ics rom using pc odin..now i want to noe how to use the kies..how the kies work only..
wat i did is, i open the kies air app..press start button..open up browser on my desktop..enter 192.168.1.5:8080 address..nothing happen..
those steps are correct or not?or i misundestood smthing here..

nice reply there, i'm glad that you manage to ignore all the evidence problems related to Official ICS rom for Galaxy Note.
Just to be sure, i'll clap    my hands if you and one of the forumer BRICKED their device.
