i'm gonna swap to lpy later tonite to see if i can root that. then i'll beg my wife to let me sign for a 5 buck app and swap the lpy to lpf.

i like lpf. it reads all my chinese characters and displays them well. love chinese characters even if i dun understand squat about it.

i liked it when he implemented jkay's mod. i can rearrange the toggles to what i wanted. flashlight was always the first button for me and last is always reboot.

i know he's using kies.

usually external links are all on hotfile. it used to be one of my fav file servers as well together with megaupload. however to download from hotfile via unifi @10mb is just crap. using open dns but still crawling speeds.

i was paying for hotfile once until they got clamped on 1080p stuff. thats when i decided to move back to torrents at the moment.

and via unifi, i feel that torrents are so much speedier especially for new roms.

for those who wanna download torrents, there's a thread on xda which lists u the roms and its torrents.

i use jdownloader. for torrents i use xunlei.

jdownloader is really good, but still give me horrible speeds via hotfile. that's why i usually ask for alternate links.

when blank comes out i have to resort to using xunlei and go korek the torent file from the pinned threads in xda.

xunlei got english conversion by our very own forummer here la dei.
u need to lurk more in broadband section.

most of the high charges i know of came from roaming overseas. when u bring your phone overseas and use data while on roaming, u need to have very deep pockets.

now gonna odin malaysia ics rom for my friend.
in pc odin, do i need to check the re-partition box like lpf ?

\copy cwm.zip and busybox into an external microsd card.
insert microsd card into phone.
switch off phone.
switch on to stock recovery using the volume up + home + power
select install from external sd
select cwm.zip first
it will reboot to a touch screen recovery.
select install again and select busybox.zip
reboot phone.

if you have errors on

e:/cant mount or find external sd

change to a different microsd card. my 16gb was giving me problems so i pinjam my friend's nokia 4gb microsd and it works fine.

so who's on rocket v2 ?
i plan to install over my lpf without wipe. if something goes wrong, imma gonna odin back to lpf and start all over again.

any comments for rocket v2 ?

malaysian pc odin and taiwan pc odin is different.

malaysian pc odin only got 1 file. i also failed to inject that into my friend's note.

taiwan's pc odin got 4 files as above pic and need to tick repartition.
success on all my friend's phones.

however i did find something surprising. after i flash cwm.zip and busybox.zip, if i restart the phone, it will go back to stock recovery. that one make me headache. so if i wanna move to other custom rom i have to re-flash cwm.zip + busybox.zip and quickly flash the rom.

from taiwan pc odin lpf, i flashed rocket v2 without any wipe. no problem for me. kalagas mia theme really eyesore for me. lol.

question for those on rocket v2, under quick panel settngs, if i tick and tick and untick, where does it show up ah ????? its not in the drop down menu also. so i tick and untick what i want then where can i see those function ah ?
