Wow! i lost my root after trying to install CWM.zip for few rounds
Guess what???? 1. Once selected it will idle for a while i can remember is about 5 minutes. 2. a message will appear that is "fixed permission done! 3. After that there will be a counter appear, mine ran for 78000+ that took 2 hours to complete and i think this counter depending on your phone contents and external SD contents and size, meaning the more data you have the longer it will take. 4. Once done will be go back to the option page. 5. Choose reboot and you are done! ps: Not sure i am lucky or because i follow all the instruction therefore i didn't face problem mentioned by some user which is half rooted, icon re-arrgange and force close for some option. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ May 25 2012, 11:03 AM) Did you flash it through Abyss 4.2 kernel recovery ? If you did not, flash Abyss 4.2 kernel . Do not reboot phone. At advanced select reboot recovery - you will see redpill recovery : wipe data n all caches than select install zip ok... i will try RVV2 later .. so to put back ICS 4.0.3 Taiwan i just need to go to PC ODIN and load in these files? If you did, than just take out battery Reboot to recovery mode :volup+home+power - wipe data and all caches select reboot If phone still fail to reboot after more than 10 mins - your phone soft brick Take out battery - boot to download mode ( vol down +home+power than vol up ) : connect phone to PC . launch Odin and flash any rom to revive phone GT-N7000-MULTI-CSC-OZSLPF.tar MODEM_N7000XXLR1_REV_05_CL1144476.tar N7000_APBOOT_N7000ZSLPF_CL558430_REV02_user_low_ship.tar N7000_CODE_N7000ZSLPF_CL558430_REV02_user_low_ship.tar Since RRV2 replaced some of these..., right? |

QUOTE(Duckies @ May 25 2012, 12:06 PM) Haha u should see how many times I flashed yesterday night u learnt something right? At first at LP9 Malaysia ICS stock rom -> Deodex Pre-rooted LPY stock rom (to gain back root but still lost full root) -> Stock GB rom KJ1 (Dr.Ketan's method to downgrade and root) -> Rocket Rom v2 (issue of keep restarting so need to flash LPY stock rom first before RRv2...plus phone restarts until screen turn green and image messed up) -> Stock GB rom KJ1 again -> Flash abyss kernel 4.2 and do a full wipe (android.process.acore and calendar.process keep force closing, preventing me from booting in) -> Managed to boot in stock GB KJ1 after a full wipe -> LP9 Malaysia ICS stock rom again (using mobile odin pro to maintain root) -> Rocket Rom v2 again (boot into recovery and flash CWM.zip then abyss kernal 4.2 but stuck with a timer that keeps incrementing) -> Manual reboot recovery by pressing volume up+power button+home -> Managed to boot into abyss kernel 4.2,do a full wipe and flash Rocket rom v2 -> Flash stock theme for RRv2 |
