so i farm gold now in Act 3/4 Hell very very easy.
with nepalem buff + % to get gold gears + ferret (+another 10% increase on gold)
normally dropping is between 400-800 gold..
45 mins playing i got around 100k - 150k gold..
cant farm in Inferno..
2 hit die from elite

1 Legendary, I forgot how many rares. Maybe two or three inventories full. Blues countless.

Odds of a rare showing up at my MF is like maybe 5%~10% give or take. Could be lower. Blues will drop at 100% at this MF level.

MF isnt that important, what is the max MF u can put on a char ? and 75% MF does it means 75% better chance or with diminishing returns which actually lower than actual value. You have to understand what is this 75%, it give you 75% better chance to have magical or rare equipment, so instead of u get MF of 75%, u get 0 MF and do more or faster killing, which u can find more magic or rare item too.

It need to be balanced, if mobs are easy, 75% MF is good, but if you sacrifice your stat, instead of taking 1 hour to clear 1 stage with 0MF but good stat equipment, u take 2 hours with 75% MF item, which u die alot or flee like hell, i would prefer the previous solution but do it twice, it benefit me even more.

In the end, MF is a bonus, if you take the MF and no issue in your game play, fine, its great, but if it affect your stat and make your life difficult, i say would say forget it, especially you are in hell or inferno difficulty.

Basically 1% drop with +100% MF = 2% drop. Simple math.

193% MF now. Stack it if you can sustain your damage output.

yup. correct. if a mob has 1% to drop legendary then with +200% mf it means that mob has 3% to drop lengedary gahahahah

after viewing the AH, IMO its better to buy items/EQs with gold from the AH

u get what u want, no hassle...just get the gold ready...

rare/unique/set items EQs drops are considered as side bonus during the gold farming, its not most of the time u'll be wearing those drops, most probally sell them for gold also in AH

currently, having gold is king in D3...heh..wasted so many gold on upgrading crafting...stats still random when making an EQ, wish i realize it earlier...my mistake..

i think they (Blizzard) should make those really good EQs cant be sold in AH, only can be obtained from drops/mission or special stages, else there will be no point for farming or crafting if everything is available thru AH

I wasted too much gold to change my set from vit to str thn back to vit, now am finding gold and magic eq also.

I guess after tis post thn price, relevant item price will shoot up?

now i got 128% GF. minimum drop is like 100 gold, average drop 300-500, maximum drop 700-900. but still not satisfy. Meanwhile I let my co op friend be a MF whore, but he just got 48% MF currently, I can feel he leech my GF a lot.
