just out of curiosity.. if the SSD stated 128gb, what is the real size available for usage?
because usually HDD and thumbdrives will be smaller a bit..
example, 8gb thumbdrive only have 7.8gb space for usage.
is it the same as SSD?

can you post your backpack photo? I thought ROG backpack should be very nice...?

The g55 does not come with the rog backpack, but the normal one is given instead. If i'm not mistaken, the 3D models does come with the rog backpack along with a gaming mouse. If i remember correctly, someone even had a gaming headset as well.

i like dell alienware bag.. any similar bag like that?

Added on May 25, 2012, 8:32 pmI just got back from BJC in Penang. Swisspac there says that they can get the Asus G55 but must preorder. Leadtime is 3 days. & the Onboard RAM is 4GB 1333MHz.
I still haven't received any feedback from Asus about the actual RAM though some ppl are saying that it is supposed to be 1600MHz.
Anyone here got any idea?

1600mhz ~~woo~~~but i dunno it is true onot that i heard ppl said that if u upgrade the Ram, it should better with same MHz as well if not the motherboard will only make your both Ram running with speed of the LOWEST mhz ram....so that's mean if u upgrade another 4gb in 1333mhz....your 4gb 1600mhz ram will drop to 1333mhz too...

mine g55v rm3999 come with free bag and extra 4GB X 2 Corsair ddr3 1333 , but i ditch the ram n opt for Cosrair Vengeance 4GB x 2 ddr3 1600 instead , for extra rm50 ..

there is good bundle / pricing out there folk! u just have to find it
