QUOTE(samsungfreak @ Aug 14 2012, 02:01 PM) ... Don't you guys think this lens focal length is too close to Pana 20mm? ... IMHO, it's too close to Pan 20 1.7, but lucky for me I don't own either lens yet

QUOTE(leonghan @ Sep 7 2012, 09:05 AM) .....
I'm quite confuse about this problem and should i get the Pan 20mm f1.7 with my OM-D??
.... Unless the pancake size of Pan 20 1.7 is a must for you or your budget is fixed, why don't you get the PL 25 1.4? I know the PL 25 can be had for RM2-2.1k brand new with local warranty

QUOTE(farro @ Oct 11 2012, 09:28 PM) can anyone recommend a decent portrait lens. im using epl3 For native lens, Oly MZ 45 f1.8 is very good for normal portrait field of view. Brand new will cost you abt rm950-1k. If your budget is tight, can always play with legacy lens, like OM 50 1.8 or Super Takumar 50 1.4

QUOTE(tcm7782 @ Nov 7 2012, 11:15 AM) he want, not me, i using marumi super dhg protection filter I'm using Marumi Super DHG Protect for my Panny 12-35 f2.8 and so far very pleased with the outcome. Previously I'm using Hoya HD UV filter but not happy coz still have the occasional flare. I'm also using 49mm B+W MRC nano for my SMC Takumar which is very good but the price is much higher compared to Marumi, with almost similar result. So Marumi DHG Super Protect gets my vote

QUOTE(faidz85 @ Nov 15 2012, 11:51 AM) Got my cracked screen replaced yesterday for RM400. Done in 1.5hours. Anyways, any recommended bag for my kit? E-M5, E-P3, 12mm and 75mm. I thought yours is brand new set with warranty. Did they charge you for the replacement screen?

QUOTE(iJoel @ Nov 15 2012, 12:38 PM) Hi guys, between 25mm and 45mm F1.8 which lens would you get if you're going on a travel? I'm leaning more towards the 45mm but I'm afraid I might not get too much of the landscape? However for indoor photos the 25mm would be ideal. I already have the 20mm but wasn't very happy with the AF on my epm1, hard to get the right focus at times, especially indoors. Hope you guys understand what am I talking about Sell your 20mm and get the 25mm. 45mm will be a bit restrictive for landscape and scenic shots, unless most of your travel photos are portraits of your loved one.

QUOTE(philipcs @ Nov 28 2012, 04:12 PM) Can you be more specific QC in what sense? Exterior or Image Quality? Exterior wise. Many reported cases of the mode dial just pop-off from the camera (mine included), crack/hairline LCD, paints peeling off, etc.
