I'm confused. One of the Blizzard admins posted this: QUOTE The Americas: 5:00 a.m. PDT to 11:00 a.m. PDT Asia: 8:00 p.m. PDT to 2:00 a.m. PDT Europe: 1:00 p.m. PDT to 7:00 p.m. PDT Then ANOTHER admin posted this: QUOTE Update 10:50AM PDT: We are extending maintenance by approximately 1 hour. We currently anticipate that all Diablo III game servers and services will available by 12:00 p.m. PDT. One guy is saying there are different times for the 3 region specific servers to go online. Another says all servers will be up at 12pm PDT (3am GMT+8). Pening arh dengan Blizzard.

To those on the Asian servers:
Be warned that there is an error going around since the update which causes the game to terminate by itself. A "The game has been terminated" message will pop up, and throw you back to the character select screen.
Oh, and you basically lose all progress i.e. items, EXP, levels, and even checkpoint progress. Basically almost everyone on the Asian servers are experiencing this.
A few of us tried to see how bad it was. We did a run from the start of the Caverns of Aranae to the checkpoint right before the Spider Queen boss. When the game terminated itself, we logged back in. All our items collected from the start of the dungeon were gone. Levels were gone, along with experience. And the checkpoint reset itself to the start of the cave, not the end.
Yay Blizzard.

Asia server back down for maintenance (as usual). Emergency Maintenance: QUOTE ● Check the Time: June 28 23:00 - 29 June 2:00 a.m. (expected) ● Check the target: Asia server ● Check the details: Server stabilization ● Check the impact: the server due to an emergency check-up and the game can not proceed The time is in Korea Standard Time. So for us Malaysians, it's from 10 PM to 1 AM. GG Blizzard Korea. SourceThis post has been edited by Nyarlathotep: Jun 28 2012, 10:39 PM

Can anyone go into the Asian servers? Supposedly the server is patched ( SOURCE) but my client isn't downloading the patch. The past patch loops will resolve itself once the Korean servers patch their ****, but my client isn't downloading the patch like it would normally.

The quick fixes are very circumstantial, because it might or might not work.
I've tried changing the patch_url to koKR, and it made me download 8GB language files. I've tried changing enSG to enUS. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the game a total of 3 times.
I've given up trying anything as it's extremely depressing to try self-made fixes when Blizzard has not done anything to address the patch loop issue, other than saying "Wait till the patch goes live in your region."
The patch went live on the US servers almost 12 hours ago, and it went live in the Asian servers 4 hours ago. And the client isn't even prompting a patch install.
Frustrated sial.
