Hey... anyone using the new DOPOD 900 ( i think) which is the 3G PDA Phone?

- Is the video streaming for 3G good?
- Is it worth buying?
- Is the built in camera crappy?
- Hows the WiFi?
- Hows the bluetooth?

Just wanna know, I tested it for SIRIM and wanted to know the user's view.
When I got it for testing, it only goes for paperwork, Malaysia doesnt have the capacity or the standard for 3G or 3G PDA for that matter...

Just curious, no one here in LYN uses Dopod 900?

chtan is the only user in LYN so far I know....He's from Penang....

i'm currently using it. so far quite ok. I can use video call, surf internet using pie through 3g and also surf using my laptop. becoz this my first pda phone so I can't give any comment yet.

if you dont mind the bulky and heavy design, go for it.
but if you want to have more stable OS, better stick with window 2003 first. Window 5.0 is still loose to 2003 in term of stability.

take Dopod 838 instead...nice looking

838 is only 200mhz, not powerful at all.

Dopod 900 is a 3G device. So if you are using 3G then this device is the only one presently available.

If you don't mind the size and need 3G then get it.

RM4288 (price on november 2005). I think the price still RM4K+ now.

Good device, hinder by the size.

yEAH...Letdown is the size. Besides that it has nice specs and a VGA screen. Price kinda high too.....Maybe if you wear it on your belt would be fitting. I normally keep my pda/phn in my pocket.
O2 XDA IIs good too. Price should have gone down a lot by now....

Well, if you need 3G then this is the only PPC phone in the market for now. Size is big, however this is because it has dual camera, kinda nice keyboard and VGA screen.
