sorry to tell,
but i already ordered a bunch of LED light. gonna start DIY soon for my 2feet tank as trial.  lol~
10W LED, 8000k, 10000k, 12000k, 14000k
3W LED, 6500k, 8000k, 12000k, 14000k.
if this project is successful then i will make for 3feet or even bigger tank.

During my research, i found out that we only need 30-50% LED watt power to get similar light output as florescent.
This is very helpful since TNB charges is increasing every year. and climate change also increase our room temperature.
I hope i can get 25-27C for 2feet tank with LED lighting

if you can spend Rm200 for scissor or lily pipe, why not Rm400 for LED light set?
LED lifespan is 50000hours. consider you using 10hours per day, it last 5000days, which is 14years.
WITHOUT CHANGING BULB or worry that color temperature will run !

u can simply put it in your tank, n c where it survive or not....
some moss n fern looks a like java moss n fern but it not totally water plant, mean some r semi water plant....in that case it can be used for terarium

bro jiejian, why not put ur diffuser below the outlet? the water gushing out from ur filter will carry the co2 around the tank.

btw, like the last pic. really inspirational

What is your definition of huge? How heavy? I see video of amano setup the 7meter tank.. He put the foams below. I think all depends on surface of your rock and the weight. If rock surface is large but heavy still ok. If rock surface is small but heavy then maybe got problem to the glass that is being pressure.
