listening to: "slow" song like country, folk, soft rock; ladygaga-type proof, no hard rock; rap, i pay much attention in the lyric of the songs.

can heaven IV satisfied my needs?

i rather pay for quality than branding, is fad value for money?

thanks for the advice..

Have owned Final Audio Design Heaven VI CG for few months already.
Any suggestion for setup since I use it mainly on my android phone. Non of my DACs compatible with galaxy note 2.

I have the exact set up as you, big difference with dac?

driving power, amping power, dac related issues: noise & SQ. Well, there're lots of stuffs going on. But frankly, if you're listening on the go and treating music as background more than you do critical listening, there's no need to pour too much on handphone setup.

I dont know..but I do enjoy every bit of the instrument being played, and the tiny details, is that critical listening? I mean I no musician or anything, lol..

just afraid this iem will be overkilled for pairing only with note 2, I dont mind spending more if can bring out the best of this iem, if not fully utilize its potential, same as wasting money too..

hmm..this is how I think,
buy expensive iem but not fully utilize = waste money
buy expensive iem, add somemore accessorry so that this asset(iem) can be fully used = save money + waste money

If it's alright, then just don't mind so much laa. After all, it's the joy that matters. If you really wanna squeeze every last bit, go desktop setup. Or computer audio. get a DAC with USB input, and an amp, or a combo set. After all, I think this IEM really shines when the source improves.

ya lo now am happy already, will stick to current setup..except when I reach a point that money is too much for me lol..

thanks for the advice smile.gif
