Than most probably most of the special features will not work as dependent on touchwiz ui

The first SGS model has about 30% of its production whereby you cannot physically boot to download mode. This was widely reported in the initial months of the SGS launch
I was one of such users. However Samsung refused a replacement citing as a normal user we are not even supposed to tamper with phone in download mode

That will greatly depends on your data strength you need
Example previously I was subscribing to Digi smartplan RM 68/month for 3 GB data but max download speeds I got at my place usually 1200 kbps max and in town 2000kbps. When Maxis came out with similar plan but at RM 75 ( 3.5 GB data ) I switch and now at my place I get minimum 2500 kbps and at some places in town even 8000 kbps

It is reported Samsung already recieved 9 million units preorder worldwide. Their SGS II hit 20 million in 9 months. This is amazing before even official sale. Wonder how many units Msia will actually get on initial launch. Definitely will be very limited

Samsung media event just to inform of their new smartphone
Most potential buyers not like us here who seems to know better than even Samsung MSIA staffs regarding the product
So it is an event for the 80% public not for us the 20% techies

Given a choice I prefer blue. If no choice than white n it will be my first white phone
On photos white seems look nicer but problem maintain it . Wonder how stain free it can be?

HTC is Taiwanese not kimchi
And don't talk such nonsensical stuffs here without basis

I have been buying first batches all Samsung products n never have any quality problem

Riptide ( meant for Tegra chip ) example on HTC One X will have water effects jump onto screen while in the G Note you will see none of such effects

Why worry - you can put in a 64 GB ext micro sdcard
For me, all my Samsung phones I always have about at least 6 GB empty space left in internal storage

Why store your media stuff inside internal memory - put it in ext SD card

That is standard 11GB too for SGS II, Galaxy Note. 2 GB hidden partition, 3 GB system files and balance 11 GB for user

There is a class 10 Sandisk 64 GB micro sdxc - I am using it in my G Note now. Bought it from garage sales lowyat - look for seller marcus20125
