QUOTE(farscope @ May 25 2012, 05:04 PM) actually after looking at the S3 design for so long, i prefer the international version over the korean version now.. The design looks more and more attractive the more we see it The Korean rectangular design is too.. well, rectangular

QUOTE(Lucius <3 @ May 25 2012, 10:08 PM) Hmm, thanks! Extra effects like water splashing in Riptide GP. Nothing much though. Chainfire3D will only allow you to play the games, no Tegra effects like what you mentioned

QUOTE(orangez1988 @ May 26 2012, 01:31 AM) Sadly, there's no sign of Apple-inspired brushed aluminium, but unlike the S II, the Galaxy S3 is clad in HyperGlaze (Samsung's fancy way of describing shiny polycarbonate). As we’ve seen in the HTC One X, polycarbonate offers greater strength, durability and scratch resistance over traditional plastic, although we think the HTC's single-body matte polycarbonate construction still gives off a more solid, premium feel. This only happens to the white color right? White and blue same material? If HTC One X doesn't use the same polycarbonate they'll say otherwise Same material. Hyperglaze is a process for coating the additional layer which Samsung claims scratch-resistant First fifty Galaxy S III owners to win Olympic ticketsThis post has been edited by ken2291: May 26 2012, 09:01 AM

Design is different from colour. I guess one wouldn't need to be coached on that difference. And I believe all forumers who are buying here is totally fine with the design. Again, coming back to this thread after a whole day class makes me even more tired after all those posts

QUOTE(Harddisk @ May 27 2012, 11:10 PM) It's the hottest phone I had try. Some mentioned that the heat was similar to HOX. I wasn't sure if the 4 cores were triggered prematurely due to prototype or phone trying to hunt for bad signal. I didn't play game with it though, so I doubt I triggered any intensive CPU cycles. I think the reason should be continuously searching for phone signal. Need to see if it heats up very badly when playing games

QUOTE(silentser @ May 28 2012, 06:47 PM) somehow i dont entirely believe that "owner". we have seen HOX, SG1,SG2 survive so many drop test. and where is that "owner" come from? UK already start selling? That's why, SII even survives a shoulder height drop face down. Sounds fishy to me too. Dropping from the pocket shouldn't be too much of a height. He should be REALLY unlucky if it's real This post has been edited by ken2291: May 28 2012, 06:54 PM

QUOTE(jetpacker @ May 28 2012, 07:05 PM) currently im tied to digi samsung galaxy s2 contract for 2 years (still got 1 year to go)...am i still able to "upgrade" my plan by getting S3 from digi???? Upgrade or not, I think you'll be charged a penalty for not continuing your current plan. You need to get a new plan and new number aside from your current one (They don't let you "upgrade"). Correct me if I'm wrong
