It is reported Samsung already recieved 9 million units preorder worldwide. Their SGS II hit 20 million in 9 months. This is amazing before even official sale. Wonder how many units Msia will actually get on initial launch. Definitely will be very limited
Samsung says it can only produce 5 million Galaxy S III phones per month, which sounds like a lot — it is — but compared to the overall global rollout plans, may not be enough for all who want one. Samsung expects the Galaxy S III to hit 290 carriers across 145 countries around the world, so it will have to maintain a high production level over the next six to 12 months in order to avoid inventory shortages or delayed release dates in some countries.

Maybe this time is turn Celcom to hold others from selling SGS3. Just 1 month after, then you can buy from Maxis or Digi.
They just mention "Be the first to know about the pricing and plans of the Samsung GALAXY SIII", if pre-order need to know what version we want to order.
I think, DiGi just hold their prospect buyer to stay waiting DiGi announcement.

I think they are invited blogger in the media preview event at 24th. Who are invited, got one unit to test and write their review.
I wonder how Samsung select the blogger, or the blogger contacting Samsung Malaysia, ask to join the media preview and ask to got one unit to test.
If you want get opportunity like them, try write a blog talking about Android. Then when Samsung Galaxy S IV release, you can be the first group can play with the new Galaxy.
