hmmm.. but those will go under multitasking ? no ?

haha new to android since i'm a iphone user switching to android..
*
You use the home button when you want to multi task, the back button is when you want to close apps.
Don't worry, the S series's home buttons don't wear of fast like the iphone, mainly cause you don't need to press it as often haha.

but the biggest downside with S III is micro sim -.-"
*
Well just have to live with it I guess, pretty much most flagship devices from popular manufacturers are using micro-sim nowadays, it's inevitable.

Speaking of larger screen..S3 and Note or other 4.6-5.5 inch phone is consider to new category call phablet..it is between the tablet and smartphone now..
*
Although there is no official definition on what phablet is, generally in the tech world, it is accepted that it's smaller than than most tablets being have to be smaller than 7" and bigger than 5". Something that is smaller than 5" like the S3 is not a phablet but is still a phone.

When asked whether the S3 will affect Note sales, Samsung said that the Note is in a totally different market than the S3 in which the S3 is a smartphone while the note is a niche market on it's own.

er...i think only hardware differences can consider as features, software wise is not. For example like different screen resolution & chipsets...
*
Well that's for you I guess.
For the average consumers and for Samsung, a lot of the stuff in the software are features.

QUOTE(tommyfai @ May 24 2012, 04:45 PM)
is the screen wipe screenshot for S3 part of hardware features or software features ?
*
Software.

well.. means note get this features also ?
*
Nope, it's cooked into the S3's ROM by samsung. You'll lose all this features if you flash a custom rom unless the rom has it as well.
Who knows if Samsung will implement it into the note in a future update but for now, no.

16gb+32gb=48gb is enough right..
*
Depends on the person, could be more than enough and could be not enough. Though for the average joe, more than enough haha.

SoyaCincau tweeted that the blue one looks to have more quality built than the white one wor.
*
probably the same, probably perception caused by looking at the glossy white finish and the kinda metalic look of the blue one.

Oh, forgot I have friend which is pilot, always flying to oversea, maybe I can ask him to by for me what I want: pebble blue 34gb LTE. Or I need to ignore about LTE, don't know how the technology after two years. Maybe at that time, LTE was so old already.
*
Do you mean the 32gb?
Well there's no use trying to import an LTE phone anyway. There's no guarantee the phone's LTE frequency will be the same as the LTE frequency that's going to be rolled out by Malaysian carriers.
In two years time LTE will still be maturing, even the current LTE still hasn't meet the original 4G standards, you could say it's 3.9G. Still a lot of space to go.
In the mean time, I don't know if this is available in Malaysia or not, but Dual-Cell HSPA is the limits of the old HSPA 3g tech though still extremely fast.

Problem with LTE 4G is that there's no standardization internationally. For now LTE radios eats up battery like nobody's business anyway though in Malaysia one would probably never turn it on.

The NTT Docomo version at least is a bit thicker as well so might not fit in some cases.

I oso no understand whats the downside using plastic, I mean if u drop a iPhone vs a S2, iPhone picah like #$@!%
Plus plastic looks good what, scratches normally more visible on glass and metals like iPhone
biggrin.gif no lah I very jimat one buy one phone use atleast 4-5 years~
*
Actually, the S3 is not made out of plastic, it uses the same material as the One X
http://www.pcauthohttp://forum.lowyat.net/...onate-body.aspx
Though you can't really feel it since it's coated with Hyperglaze

Did not hv the chance to feel it properly, but based on the feedback so far, it's feel is cheap and not suitable as a premium phone. It is likely that HTC and Nokia used higher quality of polycarbonate
*
not really, don't know about nokia but HTC might have used thicker polycarbonate or some other factor is that those manufacturers did not put a hyperglaze coating on the polycarbonate so you can feel the thing while you can't feel it on the S3.

Depends on what you think a premium phone should be like I guess.

i read the article again
now come to think about it. 600k is very little compared to 9million orders tongue.gif
*
Though if you think about it, the 600k could be to fulfill the ones for countries like Malaysia etc. than that's a lot haha. They will probably priorities first world countries. The carriers there pay Samsung more Money haha.
