Reminded me of Lehman during World cup 2006 penalty shoot out with Argentine. Keeping a note in his socks telling him all the players direction. laugh.gif

Btw, nope... Robben is not the problem, at least not the sole. Ribbery is wasteful. So does Gomez, a prolific top striker in the world who missed countless of how many chances. Of course thanks to Schweinsteiger Chelsea won the CL. laugh.gif

not entirely, too selfish with some of his plays but pretty much its just him and kroos orchestrating the offense

the fault is mario gomez's. the match shd have been over long in the first half when he could have put bayern 3-0 up

u try to give the real statistics here how many lahm successful tackle he just made, how much area he did cover on da field, how many assists that he made........... but zzzzzzzzzzzzzz non can deliver the real result, robben tendang melaut banyak kali.. gomez look like not in da game cry.gif

tactically lahm create superbly tactical offensive play, he did so many assists for the offensive line..
although he is originally play as a defender.

They are after all the creative department of bayern. However both decided to have a off key game. Shooting wayward throughout the match in the final 3rd. Germans are generally very desiplined but little rigid, so it always left to the frenchmen & Dutch to do most of the 'creativity'.

One of the funny comments from the commentator about them was as if the were both trying to outdo each other but hardly putting the sword/really harming Chelsea. I'm sure the poccession stats will reflect favourly of bayern but they were generally off target. cool2.gif

Bayern were just wasteful and unlucky. Robben hits the post, Robben misses a penalty. Gomez needs so many chances to score. Other than those two shots above, Robben did not even hit target all night.

Bayern should have won it easily but only got themselves to blame. Olic's pass to van Buyten would have been an easy tap in. Gomez had a nice chance but blasts over the bar. Ribery and Robben got into so many good positions but wasted them.

Chelsea defended well but just like against Barcelona, I felt they also had luck on their side. Scored from their only corner in 90 minutes. But this season has their name written all over it after they got past Barcelona in a similar way.

And as usual, in football, you don't always get what you deserve and the better team doesn't always win.

this. i dunno why he just stood inside penalty box and do nothing except doing header and being target man.
cant he run finding space or just roaming inside penalty box ? he had so many chances and blew it.

man how im rooting for bayern win that night sad.gif
