The Maple Condo is an oasis in the middle of KL and you'll get what you pay for in terms of security and crazy amount of facilities. The park is really great if you have children or enjoy a morning jog yourself. Overall great place to stay but not to buy as investment to sell.

So in terms of upside, it's not so great but it's the park that is the lure for myself. I can't find another prop with the private park access. The other condo which is facing parks are in the TTDI area but there is none for sale.

In terms of workplace, i work around the Bangsar area and the traffic going to KL is fine for me.

Well I think you have already made up your mind then tongue.gif Overall I think its a great buy for own stay. Furthermore you'll be staying with an affluent group of people and who knows when YTL really fully transform Sentul to their proposed vision... you'll not only get a nice township that is unparalleled in greeneries in KL but also appreciation of property smile.gif

Try having a look at the 1569sq feet units btw.. the layout is much better. Also the 900k asking price seems to be a tad above market value so I can only presume that it is very well renovated.

Also for those interested or looking at Maple, the entire 2 blocks internal and external just gone through repainting and refurbishing. It looks bloody beautiful now and they even replaced the benches on each lift lobby.

As a sidenote.. I believe the security in Maple is truly top notch.

I'm hooked on a unit at maple sentul. Well renovated but seems master bedroom heater, electric oven (and probably some other appliances) cause power supply to cut off each time they were switched on.
Can anyone recommend a good trustworthy electrician around Jalan Ipoh who can determine if damage is serious and estimate cost?
Also found a big crack about a couple of feet on the wall near ceiling. I need a structural surveyor guy to determine if crack is serious. Can anyone recommend?
I need reply very fast - like this weekend as need to firm up things by next week...
Thanks everyone!

Hi Atisha.. from what you explained, it seems the heater is the culprit and you will need to replace probably 1 or 2 units of the heater tank. Each would cost around 600-700 each without electrician charges which will range in the ballpark of 150-250 for installation.

I gathered that as much now, after a visit from the electrician. Thanks for confirming (so that I know can straight away use this particular electrician. Would you know how much it cost for servicing aircond? Agent recommended to do full chemical servicing, whatever that means. Electrician quoted RM150 for each air cond. Is it reasonable? Groupon seems to give occassional offer, wonder if it's the same.. My experience with Groupon is that most of the time there isn't much offer at all. Am reluctant to fall for it...

I would suggest going for the full overhaul service of RM 150 per unit. At least you have a peace of mind later rather than a daily deal offer.
