can you guys recommend me the proper set up for toy photography? should most shots be outdoor or indoors? what is your lighting set up? what lenses do you guys commonly use to shoot toys?

i shoot mine with dslr but not in macro mode... just close up will do
and i didnt use flash for it, just normal ceiling light will do biggrin.gif
and some post processing for the color

Uhmmm, just use the macro settings (the flower symbol) when taking pics. Be sure to have ample lighting. I'm not an expert on photography yet hahaha so maybe other members can help.

BTW, Nice photo teetaatee!

Many nice pictures here. Do you guys use tripods? I personally use tripods and set to 10secs delay to avoid any shakes.

Some photos to show support to this thread biggrin.gif

really? how? i shoot in manual focus through live view all the time and i never got the sharp result that ive always wanted. was it the aperture? i kinda squint the aperture all the way to f22 because dof sad.gif

aperture depends on ur object
i shoot in AF mode and aperture priority mode
like my pic above, i use f/8
