Hi All,

My PC
PC Spec: Intel C2D 1.6Ghz
RAM : 3G
GC : Gigabyte HD6850OC

Problem
Game was smooth, charactor moving/action was smooth.
Action get delay by one second when im trying to hit enemy.

Been playing since yesterday, below is the changes i made and still observing same problem
1)Internet connection (streamyx/Maxis wireless)
2)Screen resolution
3)High/Low setting

Tried with my laptop and there is no delay/lagging with same internet connection. (Laptop is using only Intel HD GC.. mad.gif mad.gif )

Anyone facing same problem here?

Your network connection. It could be the fact that network card is giving issues or probably its dropping a packet or two. We'll have to check on that

Me to the action got delay. My situation, there is few zombie. I click attack, my monk like attacking wind. Then 5 sec, the zombie dead ady and there got show they been hit by fist thunder.

Anyone know why? I got 4xx-5xx latency. Playing on 1024x600 on full screen windowed mode with low setting. Used hd5450 512mb tho. sweat.gif

Nein. Its the server.

Many people are experiencing packet drops and latency spikes. Blizzard refuses to acknowledge this too.

You play 1920x1080, you play 640x480, you play 7680x4320 also won't affect the latency. Latency = internet, delay between you and server/host.

I'm getting 400ms lately, probably due to the weekends in US.

i too get such issue.... played both asia and america server, both got similer issue.

got a latency bar beside the menu button, for my case, full bar is green but most of the time it shows only 2/3 bar, worst at 1/3 bar which is red.

at some moment, it will drop from 2/3 to 1/3, then jump up to 2/3, then drop to 1/3 , then up again..... this might happen from time to time, until it stable again....

still, most of the time I able to play D3 smoothly , just that these lag and delay really is frustrating, specially when hitting those elite mobs in nightmare or hell ....

I am having this issue also on the US server, though i did not try the Asia server yet.
I get pretty bad latency spikes once in awhile. Sometimes it is really bad (like 3-5seconds totally freeze and nothing moves). However mostly the game just goes really slow.

I am seeing it even in single player mode. I suspect it is the latency issue between the server and the local hosted game. It usually happen when latency hit 500ms and above. There also appears to be packet drop and retransmission, i sometimes see my character magically appearing on places which i have just passed.

Not sure if it is blizzard or TMNut fault, i am inclined to think it is TMNut next generation network issue. Anyway, it is not game breaking, just annoying. Does the peeps with Unifi experiencing this as well?

That is what we call the 'rubber band effect' and its due to lag. It must be Blizzard servers overworked, or TMNut fault. just hope it goes away smile.gif
