It is a good game, but not the "Diablo" that most of the fans know.

Taken from the article:

" ... strong reason for concern. Today, Blizzard is not the same company it was a decade ago — most of the talent that worked on Diablo and Diablo 2 is long gone. Left with World of Warcraft developers to make Diablo 3, it’s no surprise that up and until a couple of months ago, Blizzard was still iterating on core game systems at a time when it should have been working on balance and content. But most alarming of all, Blizzard has broken its most sacred of mantras: “When it’s ready,” and is releasing an incomplete product. "

The writer sums up what I felt about Diablo 3.

Yes, glad you did. imagine if Half-life 3 would be made not by Valve but other studio. doh.gif It still can be good but, fans will feel a bit off.

Rockstar's Max Payne 3. A sequel worthy of it predecessor.
Rockstar did it right. Can't wait for the PC.

When I played Max Payne 1 to Max Payne 2 (Feels awesome)
Recently, Max Payne 2 to Max Payne 3 (Holy Crap, this is Awesome)

When I played Diablo 1 to Diablo 2 (Holy Crap, this is Awesome)
Recently, Diablo 2 to Diablo 3 (Good, but it doesn't feel right)

And also, For the first time Blizzard broke their ""when it's done" approach for a game of this status.

Another well reasoned comment by Cheesenium. Thanks, Problem is people sometimes get too attached to the "Game" (played way too long, lol). I mean look at CS 1.6. They're still asking CS 2.0 lol even when CSS and CS:GO are supposedly the game's successor.

Because the designers of Diablo 1 and 2 go out and created torchlight.  I played both d3 and  torchlight  2 and i like  torchlight  2 more than d3. Torchlight 2 'feels' more diablo than diablo 3. That being said i will buy d3 just for the sake of nostalgic and waiting for torchlight 2. Already finished the Beta and rerolling as engineer nao.

I am also currently testing out Torchlight 2 beta. Tears went out my eyes when I heard the musics. smile.gif
Pre-ordered it weeks ago.
