Because the designers of Diablo 1 and 2 go out and created torchlight. I played both d3 and torchlight 2 and i like torchlight 2 more than d3. Torchlight 2 'feels' more diablo than diablo 3. That being said i will buy d3 just for the sake of nostalgic and waiting for torchlight 2. Already finished the Beta and rerolling as engineer nao.Taken from the article:
