what i know about the diablo series is that D1 and D2 is radically different. just like D3 and D2. im disgusted with these so called "real" fans whining how D3 is different compared to D2 and doesn't deserve the Diablo title just because of that.

how hard was diablo 2 really since you can spam potions and lifeleech your way to the end?

oh yes googling for rune combinations and cookie cutter builds is really challenging. in diablo 3 i actually have to think what combination of skills to use for different situations instead of spamming the same skill my build is currently specced to. real hard walking around to see your enemy froze and die as a druid. i dont even have to click the enemy to kill them. i have to actually manage my resource generation by mixing skills that generate them and skills that spends them. i dont have to do that in diablo 2. i just hook up a line from the belt and guzzle my potions to spam all my way to victory. much more harder? really?

i might want to add, whats "hard" in diablo 2 is not the gameplay itself. it's the process of preparing your character before you actually play the game. diablo 3 put more focus in playing the game itself. while stats and skill tree is not actually gone entirely. it's just presented in a different form.
