Just came bck from the site its a 6.6km open water event.
Roughly 130 laps in a 50 m pool
It might take me a whole year to get to that fitness level!
Would love to train with you guys soon.

quite far. though u can reach bukit jalir by lrt but then walk to aquatic centre also quite far also. no drive? after swim and shower should relax at air-cond while driving back ma. sweat sweat walk to lrt meh. and bukit jalir pool open got schedule de so u need to go according to the schedule. they open 3 hour each session.

but then if u went bukit jalir, u might bump into her laugh.gif

The only pool that is easily accessible by public transport is PJ Palm, which is just less than 5 mins walk from Taman Jaya LRT station. And you can do lap swim as this pool lesser people. Two things, night session is RM 8 per entry, locker at rent on RM 1, the other end of pool is 4 meters deep.

If its not because of the entry fees is so expensive, I would have swim in this pool often. I thinks i will back to Kelana Jaya pool this week, cause its just been renovated, more private shower area and clean toilet.

Parking, park on the side of the road la, night no need to pay ma, weekend also no need to pay, but if not car park outside the PJ palm sport club, can make a round turn to park at top where all the makamah(court), JPJ of MPPJ located la. DONT park just outside the club which is in vertical, those cost RM 5, just park right beside the road (got yellow square box one) opposite the club. Worst come to worst, you can also park in A&W, also free one, but need to walk a bit la.
