I think it is reasonable price for 1 to 1 with multiple angle video record and provide personal video analysis, if it really can improve the swimming technic. thumbup.gif

for swimmers, how do you guys improve and increase lung capacity? running out of breath after a few strokes for my freestyle. smile.gif
*
It can be cause by many things:

1. Too tension - It will make you use too much power to swim, then you will fast run out of air.
2. Hold your breath - This is the biggest mistake last time I did, must always exhale constantly.
3. Body balance problem - rotate too much or can't rotate at all.
4. Sinking legs - This also will cause you using too much energy.
5. Head look forward not look down.

My humble opinion will be start training exhale constantly under water first, then doing some balance drill to improve your body balance, remember must always look down to the pool....

Wish you swim happy ah. laugh.gif

Glad to hear that, try practice the exhaling until you feel comfortable. Trust me, this practice will make you feel relax.

Until today I still doing this exhaling practice before I start longer swim, this really help relax my body & mind. I share you the youtube video here, but I only can find the chinese version, sorry ah. Wish you swim happy ah. smile.gif

Can guys wear swimming shirt at public swimming pool?

I have never seen anyone wear one so im still thinking whether to bring along. Im quite thin, nothing impressive to show other than flabby body.

Hope my body will look better after this. How many times do you swim in a week?
*
Yes, you can wear swimming shirt. I swim 2 - 3 days per week, each day around 1 - 2 hours.

1. Slow swim 200m for warming up body.
2. Doing drills.
3. swim 5 x 200m or 10 x 100m with Finis Tempo Trainer Pro.
4. Slow swim 200m for warming down body.

I swim very very slow, because my focus only for healthy. The point is I don't care about what people looks at me at all, just enjoy my swim. thumbup.gif

*
30 years old is uncle? Then I'm already 40, so now I'm a old man?? laugh.gif laugh.gif
As my personal experience, freestyle is the most easy strokes for beginner to learn. The point is can you meet a good coach or not. I start learn freestyle from zero until now almost 1 year 6 months.

QUOTE(NicoRobinz @ Mar 15 2017, 10:01 AM)
30 years old is still very young especially for guys.

Well, i'm targeting to learn freestyle for my very first swimming stroke. Actually, what stroke is easiest to learn?
*
As I say, brother. Freestyle swimming is the most easy way for beginner. Try to check my personal self record youtube video at previous post here smile.gif. Wish you swim happy coming future. thumbup.gif

sifus out there, any tips for beginner like me who doesn't know how to swim at all?

I'm planning to swim regularly but bandar tun razak swimming complex is a bit too deep for me. I felt anxious whenever I tried to walk in the swimming pool as if i was going to lose balance and fall.

Is there any way to learn in this circumstance?
*
Hi, there. If you can go Bandar Tun Razak, why not try go to Kampung Pandan Dswim Academy. If I'm not mistake the pool half 25m depth is 5', the another half will be 6 - 10'. It is enough for you to practice you swim. biggrin.gif

It was expected to be ready by July but SEA Games 2017 begins on 19 Aug 2017... Hopefully in between they open it up for public so we can give it a try  biggrin.gif

Last time I used to go Bukit Jalil Swimming Pool and I kinda miss it now since the renovation because this is where I started to learn my swimming by myself... Nostalgic I would say  sweat.gif
*
Haha, I miss this place too. Let's keep tracking it. Thanks a lot for the prompt reply. smile.gif

KL pool in Cheras Bandar Sri Permaisuri just beside the stadium, opposite HUKL. Low entry fee of RM2 but rather packed during peak hours.

I see there are few complaints on the toilets but I don't think there is one that can beat the Cheras one. Occasionally you will see huge chunks of shit in the shower room on the floor and worse thing is the cleaners don't clean it all up and just leave it there for several days. The whole area will stink shit. There are a lot of naughty 5 to 6 year old kids that caused this nuisance.
*
OMG!!! This is so disgusting!! puke.gif puke.gif

So far the most greatest swimming pool I go before is Damansara The Club, good swimming environment and nice shower room!!
