QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Jul 15 2012, 02:57 PM) As cache disk? Reboot Windows many times so it will store most frequent used files as cache. As boot drive? Disable Acceleration in Intel Rapid Storage (RST), reformat your mSSD with Window Disk Management(or any partition software u use) and install MBR into it. After that you can install clean Window 7/8 into your mSSD. Sauce: The Definitive Guide to Clean Install OS on a mSSD Cache Equipped Laptop - NotebookReview.com |

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Aug 14 2012, 11:45 PM) My touchpad left button is normal, sounds quiet and just like my right button. U sure its running on HD4000 or MPC-HC doesn't utilize it at all?My backspace also has a weird squeaky sound but not loud enough to irritate me. Guys, any idea how to force Media Player Classic to use the HD7730M card to play videos? It is using Intel now and even though I set mpc-hc.exe to high performance in Catalyst Control Centre, it is still using Intel to play. My 1080p ts files are not smooth enough Even my Intel HD3000 can play TS file smoothly except when i use MadVR output. QUOTE(creative zn @ Aug 17 2012, 02:42 AM) guys, how to make sure if we run the game with ATI graphic card instead of intel onboard card? u guys have both dynamic and manual switching. kudos to dell. edit: ok now i got it. just go to "catalyst control center" -> power -> switchable graphic card method -> choose select the graphic card manually. now i can safely run all my games with ATI graphic card. |

Save all the hassle from installing the driver manually by using Win7 with SP1 installer/iso/disc.

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Aug 30 2012, 01:12 AM) And HDD won't show up DURING windows installation (regardless of SP1 or not) when you boot into the DVD. Need to pop in the driver CD (i stated in the steps) to make the HDD available. |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Oct 5 2012, 06:16 PM) Got the 14r SE yesterday, and changed the HDD to a 128GB SSD. No issues except that BF3 seems to crash randomly. But I think it might be due to the GT640M overheating (using HWMonitor it reached up to 90 celcius). I wonder if it's driver issue With or without cooling pad bro? |
