Anyone replaced the Touchwiz with another launcher? Touchwiz sucks and is so laggy.

Anyone have problems removing the Sim card? Pressing it doesnt seem to eject it. I guess its because I use a microsim adaptor. Whats the best way? Pull out with tweezers?

This might seem like a silly question but how do you answer a call without a Bt headset connected? When I get an incoming call, pressing on the green answer button doesn't seem to do anything. Ansering by pressing on Bt headser button works fine.

ADW Launcher is smoother than Touchwiz and it rocks being so customisable, even if the app hasn't been updated in a while. Thanks for Uncle Benny's suggestion.

Hello fellow tab 7.7 owners,

Does anyone face problem with the compass in google maps? Mine doesn't seem to point to the right direction. There's no calibration anywhere and I even tried reseting my whole device but the same problem persist.

If I'm moving it'll point to the right direction. But if I'm stationary (like at a junction), it'll just point the wrong direction.

You might want to try calibrating the compass by holding it parallel to the ground and moving it in a circle of 8

Samsung has always been slow to deliver updates. The tab 7.7 is no exception. We'll be lucky to get ICS in 2012!

Look forward to ICS by August too :-)
I guess one has to unroot first? Is there an easier way other than to restore the firmware fro Kies?

I have been experiencing something strange and wondef if anyone can give advice for my tab 7.7
Sometimes, on an editable field, I find I cannot type anything although tapping on the field and giving it 'focus'
This is solved only after a reboot.

Yeah! Used mobile odin to flash cwm, did a back up, then flashed the 4.0.4 firmware. Sweet - everything still intact but now with ics goodness :-)

Battery life still very good after 12 hours of standy with some downloading via 3G, push notifications from whatsapp, gmail and play store update, some light web browsing and minor email checking (WiFi off). Still got more than 50%

Thanks. A friend commented ICS caused battery drain on his Galaxy Note.
