Anybody here using class 10 microsd card in their Tab? I faced problem twice on my sandisk ultra mobile. First time the card cannot be accessed and not able to format so I sent back for warranty claim. After waited one month, they replaced me a new card and it is working fine until yesterday night I tried to copy some movie into the card using cable. However, it run half way and hang. After a while it shows corrupted card in the OS. I suspect it was due to the tab issue that cause the card problem but I couldn't confirm. Anybody face the same problem? Before I bought this class 10 microsd, I was using class 4 microsd without any issue. This post has been edited by chewlf: Jul 3 2012, 02:32 PM

QUOTE(G0blinTechies @ Jul 3 2012, 04:12 PM) I am using Transcend 16GB class 10 microSDHC on custom ROM( Jade Eyed Wolf). Working perfectly for a week. I did modify some codes to enable writing on external media. No sure whether the code affects writing on microSD card. Me also enable the writing to external card. If I reformat this time, will not enable writing to external card and see how it works out. Not dare to put in my new 64GB class 10.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 3 2012, 04:55 PM) No issues using SanDisk 64gb class 6 and class 10 on tab These cards must be formatted to fat32 format Yes, I have it formatted to FAT32. I don't want to make a conclusion that the problem was caused by the card slot as there is no problem when using class 4. Probably due to ROM or the writing to external media script. Guess I have to reformat and put back my class 4 card at the moment.

New ICS firmware just released for Open Austria which include UK and few other Europe countries. Are we able to use it in Malaysia if flash manually?

Cool man. All apps intact but lost superuser. Probably I will do a factory reset and reinstall all the apps and waiting for xda to share the root method. In the mean while will try the ICS functionality. My wifi detected immediately after reboot.

Worth the wait for ICS on this Tab. Now I can forget about Nexus 7 since it does not come with external media slot.

QUOTE(sixfooter @ Jul 5 2012, 11:47 AM) I am still considering it due to Jelly Bean. Hardly use that much of space here and also as a phone in Tab 7.7. I have Jelly Bean in my galaxy nexus. In my opinion, it does not have much differences compare to ICS. Just a slight improvement on performance. From 4.0 to 4.1 not 5.0

QUOTE(h11g @ Jul 5 2012, 12:49 PM) one think i observed about the new ics update is in general it seems to use less ram, previously on HC if you have many apps open the tab feels sluggish, now if you do that using ICS, the tab still flys~! I absolutely love my tab so much more now~! using it is such an enjoyable experience. Exactly. I also saw the difference on the ram usage.
