Yes you must use pro version which is paid version. The select the rom file n select ever root nwipe cache at least. I did not even select wipe data. I was on tweak stock v3 rom. All my stuffs intact after flash

If you use odin in pc you will lose root n cwm

hi guys..can i ask..is it ics for 7.7 can be done using software updates?(ota) im is hongkong AP set..same as uncle benny..if not..how i want to do the update without wipe all my existing data in 7.7..as i didnt have any sd card for tab 7.7...hope u guys can advice..as i want to taste the ice cream on my 7.7...

I just extract until .tar
open mobile odin
select file
tick enable ever root
tick inject superuser
tick inject Mobile Odin
I also tick wipe dalvik

Then start flash firmware and check MD5 Sum

Voila... Everything settled in less than 10 minutes and rooted...

Just download into tab. I use mobile Odin PRO select root, wipe cache ONLY n all my data intact. Flash process took about 6 mins complete
When you launch mobile Odin PRO you have choice of either internal or external sdcard to find your rom file

it usually can check and download most of samsung device...

based on tips from ics, change animation scale to .5x from 1x in both "window animation scale" and "transition animation scale" increase performance... i donno whether it works also on tab though
