Can someone explain to me how the saving works in D3?? I've had to re-clear dungeons a few times just because I thought it would be ok to leave game when im back in town and halfway through a quest. Or say I restart my diablo halfway through a quest, and i join a pub game, then my initial progress is lost is it..? So confused!

Obviously you never play D2 before .
The game auto save when you dc/logout/jam, unless server error.
And whenever you join your friend, the quest in progress will be reset, you need to re-do the whole quest but not the act.
For dungeons, no matter how many times you explore, it will back to dark, this is how D3 works. And when you in the same dungeons again, the gates/portal all will different already.
if you want to logout, it is best you find the next portal(blue thingy) before you logout, so you can go back the portal next time you login.(by steps)

dont know about u guys but i found that dungeon in nightmare slightly bigger that normal...plus u have some extra quest compare to normal mode...more merchant can be found not just at town...anyone else notice bout this??

Really? likethis the game is fun.
But i expect the monsters will look scarier(apperance/size) .

hahaha size same.... just more champions, more magic mobs.... the most scary 1 for me is those mobs 3 in a group with chains

yeah bro...i always clear all corner of map...i played same quest with diff character, one in normal and one in nightmare...found new merchant spot in nightmare but not in normal mode...more quests also

And those mobs who keep run away when u chase them. If u give up chasing them, they will come again. Dam freaking annoying!

Normal mode, the monsters will run away too. Maybe you mean harder mode, the monsters will run further away? Lol.

in nightmare act 2 currently, especially hating those mobs that can jump...annoying as hell

I hate those will dig underground, cannot hit them

the thing i hate the most i INVULNERABILITY SPELL + MORTARS
this elite got like 4 minions, minions are all immune and all of them fire mortars to you..
need to kill the tailo first then only he can't cast that damn spell at his minions..

freaking annoying..

Nightmare have more mini-bosses too. Good for leveling
