haha, yea, I also can see that the htc phone is quite expensive because their spec is lower but price is similar or higher.
samsung screen is definitely better with super amoled that provide pure black, but htc not much phone using amoled i think.
Usually ppl not support own product because too boring with it i think, taiwanese dont want htc, korean also dont want samsung, but i know japan want sony.

after u bro use another brand he will know what he should focus, not the brand i think.
cause my experience htc, samsung and sony, i prefer htc because it really not bring much software and hardware problem to me.
but all is really depend on luck i think, i bought sony xperia before, and after warranty the motherboard problem, keep restart, i forced to change.
samsung gv me a lot software problem such as alarm not function (not only my galaxy s, galaxy 5 and corby as well), only samsung that bar phone rm80 no problem with that. and some minor bugs.
htc the body is heavy and not so nice looking for me.

just sharing my experience, i know all this really depend on luck.

Just I heard Elantra using DVVTi and my friend comment 1.6 is powerful even sit 5 person inside. Really Unbelievable~
