QUOTE(raist86 @ May 25 2012, 10:23 PM) going to check out Inspira tomorrow.. currently carless due to accident caused by my mechanic's staff... They took my car during midnight to drive (left car overnight for to fix stuff) and got into a major accident.. The city / jazz cvt issues are most caused by the start-up clutch, the inspira uses torque converter. For best reliability, take the Vios I've tried Preve out last week and am not really convinced with the build quality. Looking for a car that can last me at least 10 years... Not the type that keep changing cars... How's proton's build quality for this japanese car? Any major issues so far with the CVT? My family has a City and the CVT has been showing signs of jerkiness even after sent to service center. Very keen on Inspira 2.0E as i understand that 2.0P is no longer in production. I guess i can live with fabric seats for the 6k difference. |

QUOTE(ckk125 @ May 25 2012, 10:45 PM) *cough*cough*, preve also uses start up clutch. Really? The preve that I tested didn't response very well. Start up clutch suppose to give faster engine response.anyway, my family owns a 2007 city, but bein 5 years, the gearbox is not as smooth as it is. but once it gets going, it is smooth. same goes for my inspira. 1 year and 6 months on, the engine isnt as smooth as when new. can feel the vibration esp if rev past 4k rpm |

QUOTE(MeToo @ May 25 2012, 11:47 PM) Looks like proton's after sales service is finally on par if not better than Toyota/Honda , they are able to rectify most if not all issues. Good job. Preve is a better car than inspira in every way. But I will buy Vios J if I were to choose again. Say no to copycat |
