Made my booking to check that noisy steering wheel when turning this thursday 8am. Side note, ill be asking them to check my rear left side door. Hard to close AGAIN. Last time already change the rubber that was protruding outwards, during the 1k service. Looks like gotta go check it out again.

normal ka, after rain, if wet bit, windows wine down, particular on right hand driver side, got sound, bising. haha

off topic sekejap, anybody knows how much is the gearbox for kia spectra? i think mine gone kaboom d, change to all gears got sound and cannot move, auto car, well all gears bising n not moving except for P.

for that cvt, u need to start slow to avoid d jerk, after that jz press all u want.

if u find it susah, u tekan to sat when starting to accelerate, jz change back to cvt when ur speed stable or > 20 cz no jerk already.

highly doubt so. how u wanna fix d motor? -.-

i only get 2.5k rpm for 120km/h. or izit cz my gb is a cvt?

1. See how heavy you press your oil and city/highway driving if applicable. Can't be your feet will always step on a constant power all the time, right?
2. Common thing for some people, just a small issue due to the some floating issue thing, like your toilet mechanism, the pelampung will float up when got water, car one is float up when petrol, but it float up and got stuck so show 5 bar but your tank is still full.
3. You will get used to CVT eventually. You need to release the brake, don't need press accelerator heavily. After 1-2s, the car will ride smoothly. It just takes time to get used to. I'm on 3k mileage now. Been driving since March this year, and my petrol is ok. Roughly rm50 sure get 300km, 100% city driving. In Kuching, Sarawak.

all cars are fast , depending on the driver. Fact.

So far those that own manual flx, no complains, goes as well as the cvt also. Just the rpm is higher if comparing the same speed. Just take note of any common issues you might face.

As far as i know, blm stock cd player cant play mp3.
But fl/flx stock cd player can read mp3 file cd.

As of now, I'm using a 700mb cd loaded with 100+ songs in mp3 format and it works fine in my car.


On the other hand, if urs is a blm, and it cant read mp3, you can only burn an audio cd to play. Which is like, around 80 minutes.

yes, kinda around there la, i dunno y, 80kmh = 2k rpm, go up a bit it will fluctuate but then d rpm drop to slight above 2, mayb 2.1 or 2.2.

at 120/130 i get 2.5k rpm =D

1. cvt
2. manual also got rear drum brake problem, its not a must, there is only a chance. fyi, my 1.3 flx cvt got no problem as of now, right nw is already 3 months plus of daily driving. just the rear left door cant shut properly, quite common cause i see a few others facing it too. i just go back to the Sc and ask the change the piece of rubber. no major problems.
3. add 2k, worth it for a cvt gb, NO? if add 2k for a 4AT, i rather stick to manual

tested back d spd. 3k rpm was at 120-130 onwards, bt i got 110kmh for 2.5k rpm, i was awed, but yeah. haha. dunno y d big diff though.

same price la. diff by insignificant few hundred from last i saw.
