That is when my friend make it a PURE hydrogen driven motor. For vehicle use, widely available on ebay
*
Yup, a pure hydrogen sys wld eliminate a lot of maintenance probs & hassle. Moreover the gas now needs 2b purchased...unless one can design own hydrogen-making machine & storage facility?
But then the risks go up! sad.gif

And yup, me hv seen those items 4sale. As mentioned b4, that's not all yu need.
There's distilled water, acid, neutraliser for by-products and the cleansing of the electrolytic elements. Altho the stainless steel wire used do work, they need 2b cleaned regularly & replaced after some time. Best wld be 2use platinum wires! But then the cost...will shoot skyhigh!!

Frankly many fuel saving sys do help reduce petrol consumption BUT @wat cost...In terms of $$, time, effort, etc?

Nothing easier & better than juz fill 'er up & go!!! icon_rolleyes.gif

...What key ring light? Tapping into door switch to light up the ring is not purposeful la, for decoration only. So, tell me, once you disarm your alarm, you get into the car, what do you do immediately? Ignite? Or shut the door? If your key ring light off after you shut your door at night time, you still need a torch light to search for the "hole" laugh.gif  That's why with timer/slow dim is recommended.

*
Yup, that's the advantage of addition of timer module. Agreed.
Mayb a simpler solution wld b juz by using a switch @dashboard? Juz on it when need 2use it?
A minor inconvenience but eliminates all those probs?

budget how much to do this and where can do this? interested to get that.. can join me? tongue.gif
*
Simplest mod?
Juz a few bucks...LEDs eg s short LED strip & wiring. Of course, lotsa own sweat.gif & time!!

Throw in a timer module? Add abt RM20? (Price some1 quoted = <RM20) Not sure cos hv not got it yet.

Game?

Added on June 1, 2012, 7:41 amps. Where can do the Keyring mod? In yr own home. tongue.gif

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Jun 1 2012, 09:39 AM)
Hi guys, my BLM past month or so whenever turn on the turning signal got loud buzzing sounds like coming from below/right/behind of steering wheel. Last few days I got no more sound but also no more turning signal sweat.gif

I thought no problem, should be just fuse, but this morning I check the fuse looks ok wor, no break. Replaced with my spare 10A fuse from the box in the engine compartment there but same thing. Any suggestions what it is? Hate driving with no turn signal, but lack of time to workshop (drive 1 hour each way for work).
*
Feel prob due2 wiring of turn signal. Need some1 who knows how2trace circuit. Mayb also relay prob?
Do chk it out @SC or nearby "wireman"...

Best wishes!

Added on June 1, 2012, 11:04 amJuz out out of curiosity...

Main prob during FL era, only very minor/insignificant assembly probs were heard.
Even ole IAFM issues kinda gone?
However, since birth of FLXs, plenty issues surfaced!! shocking.gif
Why? hmm.gif

Possibly somethin affected morale of assembly staff/vendors due2 takeover in process?

Any comments?

ps. Juz 4discussion only...TQ. tongue.gif

IAFM issue never went away, IINM.

When FLX, FLX SE was launched, there was no news of any takeover, so it's not because of that. Probably the same old problem of subpar vendors.
*
No news in public yet...
But mayb storm clouds oledi started brewing internally? tongue.gif
Workforce knew abt it...rumours aplenty?
Every1 got affected...? Normal, rite?

ps. Still juz 4discussion only...

I dun think the problem at BLM/FL era is minor compare to FLX.
*
BLM?
Yup, lots of probs...no doubt abt dat!

However oledi kinda petered out when FLs were released. Correct?

Then came along FLXs.
With new new probs...more than the usual kind?

ps. Still...still juz 4discussion... tongue.gif

Probably true that that prob nvr really went away to a certain extent...
Prabably reason why IAFM+ was in FLXs...wink.gif

I think BLM famous problem should be IAFM noise, but it occur for those <2009 BLM, after that less complain adi. For FL, the main problem should be headlamp enter water, this din happen in BLM. For IAFM in FL, since FL launch until now is just 1 year+, plus FL sales compare to BLM is alot lower (simply refer to 1st page proud owner of Saga u will know), so not fair to compare in this way. For FLX of course the major drum break problem and overheat CVT. Other such as door, dashboard, window rattling plague all gen of new Saga. Thats why i won't say FL is the most reliable/less complain gen.
*
Tks a meg 4sharing yr views, Bro! rclxms.gif

And the history of probs fr BLMs to FLs to FLXs...
Appears each gen has its own share of new probs. icon_rolleyes.gif

ps. My FL H/Lamps hv same water vapour & condensation. Me managed to eliminate by sealing arnd its edges. No prob since DIY seal job. thumbup.gif

Frankly me nvr had probs with power windows in old gen Saga...
Neither did any of my frens & relatives who bought Sagas & Wiras...hmm.gif

Rough estimate...<RM500...
Based on fren's repair & respray metallic paint of that incl for new driver's door & hinges = RM1100.

QUOTE(LittleBear @ Jun 1 2012, 09:35 PM)
I've been driving this SAGA 4 speed auto car for about 2 weeks now. All I can say this is a very unrefined car.  Engine is rough & noisy. Driving at 100kmh & the engine RPM is already at 3k. Cruising on highway, the car will jerk a bit when compressor goes on/off. Steering is damn heavy.

The silliest thing is that the signal light stick is located on the left hand side of the steering. Gosh! doing that doesn't make this car a continental car. Why don't PROTON just stick to the standard right stick signal light.

I have to admit though that the SAGA handling is quite good for its size. Minimal bodyroll during fast cornering. PROTON is really good at tuning the handling.
*
Hi Bro...
Sorry...but cld not help feeling yu did not test-drive that car model b4 purchase...true?
Or else yu wld hv noticed all those items mentioned in para 1 & 2 of yr post.
They are general characteristics & features of new gen Sagas. Well known among Saga owners/users...acceptable cons of a <RM50k man-in-the-street car. tongue.gif

However am glad 2note yu're at least happy with its handling...thumbup.gif

I did not purchase the car bro. It's a company car & I will be using it for a month. Sometimes drive Saga, sometimes Waja & sometimes Inspira. Of course Inspira is the bestest among them all  thumbup.gif Sad to say the Inspira is also not perfect. The suspension is suffering from 'kluk kluk' sound due to bump stop problem.

Haih~ PROTON PROTON  doh.gif
*
Lucky yu, Bro...

Knowledge abt background, specs & cost of those & other cars and their target markets wld help understand their pros & cons.
As yu shld kno, no car is perfect...even the more expensive & higher range of cars. True?

Let's enjoy our blessed lives and count our blessings... icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(dares @ Jun 4 2012, 09:47 PM)
I first used it on my 10 yo Waja. That time it was just before the next oil change, but Elton (the seller) told me it's OK can add now and it will work until the next-next oil change. After putting in, I feel the car much easier to rev and quieter. That was on top of the threebond throttle cleaner and engine conditioner I did a few months back. So I can say for sure it works for an old car.

The 5k service was the first time I used it on my Saga. That time it was shortly after the oil change, and after fixing the exhaust. Again, I feel the engine more willing to rev, I dunno if it is the fresh engine oil, the revo or the fixed exhaust. So for new cars like my Saga I can't say for sure if it is effective.

But for old cars like my Waja, definitely.

Before anyone ask me WTF is a friction modifier, it is one of the type of additives that were added into the Shell ron97 fuel to make the Vpower.
*
Tks a meg 4yr views as a user of that additive! notworthy.gif
Yup, most additives do help ole rides...somehow...in some way(s).
And somehow, they do not appear 2produce convincing / noticeable effects for new/newer cars. tongue.gif
