I'm in the same dilemma right now. Not sure to choose between ACER or ASUS. Both comes with GTX860m model.

I once used ACER brand for around 3 years back in the year 2010. I never claim any warranty because the laptop is still perfect even after so many years.

Actually, my only concern with the Acer V Nitro is the silver-coloured plastic hinge. But I went to survey the laptop just now.....it actually looks pretty elegant ! The IPS panel caught my attention, too. How to say? The screen quality is equivalent to Samsung Amoled display.

Oh yes, my sister's Acer laptop internal hard disk was broken due to lightning. She managed to claim warranty from Acer and they help to fix for free, .....ofcourse, we didn't say it's due to lightning at the service centre
